if you want you can still just replace the LCD (28€) instead LCD & Canvas (62€). Ps: nobody force you to buy this phone, even more, if you buy an iPhone, do you think you won't destroy LCD ? Enjoy ...
@@mikrojinn both Apple and Samsung are junk. Personally when i have to buy a smartphone, i chose one that costs less, when it breaks down I throw in the electronics scrapes. I dont follow trends.
The blue wire was the most irritating part when assembling the phone back again, since it needs to stay in position when putting the frame back on or else it wont fit.
Thx man, this video helped me so i decided to fix my mom's phone, instead of buying a new one. Now it works perfectly, however i don't had to use any glue as the factory glue was still good enough to put back the battery cover. With a heat gun the glue slightly melted again and i was able to stick back the cover. Easy and accurate tutorial, 10/10.
Cool, but where do I find these many thingies you own. First of all, that sorta hairdryer that heatens at 180 C degrees. And, at what price,? Of course You must do this as a job. But I only need my phone fixed. Prefacing that I won't put my device in no one,'s hands... I'm figuring out: $70 for a new LCD screen + like $300 for the essential tools (right?)= I'd better buy a new phone... do you agree? I thumbed up and I subscribed, so please, be kind, give me a good advice
i just tried this on my Samsung and accidentaly cut the outer protection layer of the battery! I inhaled the fumes about a few minutes, any idea if they are toxic? now I need a new battery to continue the repair :(
Fun fact: You don't need to heat-up the phone to loosen the adhesive. With enough patience you can do without the heat-gun (at least until you get to the battery - I felt iffy poking around the battery on my last (Samsung A32 ) device and I just broke the non-functioning screen off , piece by piece. Lithium batteries are scary - one puncture and you're left with a tiny hellfire on your hands.
my phone has a cracked screen and the whole screen when turned on is just a mixture of rainbow colours and just flashes, real this fixing method work with my problem?
Yes, an LCD screen is too complex to be repaired - you need to replace it (unless you didn't get the phone wet , a screen replacement should solve the problem.
@Mobile Service. Managed to sort my A40 out. Thank you for the clip.
Now I can get my old pictures that I thought I have lost.
Thanks a million!!!!
incredible: to repair this phone you have to throw away half the device. Bad quality and high prices, these phones should not cost that much!!!

Good job. Pity about the two parts that have to be heat gunned off the frame.
How or what can I put the flap back on if the glue comes off? What can I use to stick the flip back on?
O my dear God. I feel like the proudest girl ever. It worked, my phone works again!
