Watching Bumblebee when he actually talks with his own voice feels like he is a teenager warrior, but when he loses it, he is more like a cute baby creature that likes his owner
I’m just now realizing that when he’s being captured that’s him trying to talk not moan and grown 😢 or at any point where he makes that deep whiny sound he’s trying to talk 😭
Could very well be, there has been a hand full of times where he has annunciated certain sounds to mimic a word, the most clear of him doing this being at 3:21 and 7:00 where is sounds exactly like he’s saying “whatever” and “what was that”
Dylan O’Brian was absolutely perfect for Bumblebee. Exactly how I always thought he’d sound with a real voice. Fits him perfectly. I wish we got that in TLK and I wish he got to keep his voice in Bumblebee

The transformers series has been home to many easter eggs and goofs along the way. But when Optimus said in the 5th movie "I haven't heard your voice since the fall of cybertron." I thought to myself; "Didn't you say that in the first movie?"
My theory is that instead of bumblebee actually talking in the first movie he used parts of his voice from before when he had his voice, like how people make ai voices of famous characters.

@@Cyro702 no. That was Bumblebee’s real voice. Why they decided to have a British guy voice him and never use his real voice until TLK I don’t know. But the guy that voiced him, Mark Ryan would voice many other transformers characters: Jetfire, Lockdown, Bulldog, and Lieutenant
I wonder why they decided for him not to use his voice again after the first movie, maybe they saw the silent character and occasional radio lines as a cool gimmick or something.
I actually wonder how different the Bumblebee movie would feel if Bee didn’t lose his voice to Blitzwing. I do feel like his personality shifted more into puppy territory than what we got in the opening after he lost his voice(and I feel like we never see his Bumblebee opening personality fully again even in Rise of The Beasts) so I wonder how that personality shift would translate if he didn’t lose his voice.

For a minute when bumblebee touch the cube all Spark whatever you wanna call it he sounded like Wally you gotta listen very closely, though he does sound like the robot from that Disney movie Wally
I’ll be completely honest, i like bumble bee but i honestly don’t like his mouth. It’s weird watching it again. It’s weird design choice. Like practically all of the other transformers had moving mouths but bee looks like he has a pacifier in his mouth as he talks. Hence why i think it’s weird.
i like to think ratchet fixed his voice box after the bumblbee movie thing happened and all and he is learning to use it better. just like if a human damaged vocal chords and is re learning how to talk normally
I’ve always thought that communication By Radio would be better for Soundwave, He did Transform into a Cassette Player in the Original, and although he doesn’t in the Movies, it would’ve still been a Cooler idea than Bee doing it

The movies aren’t the exact best when it comes to continuity but it’s best to just watch it for the action scenes and badass robots
