He is. They didn't have his new model finished yet. They wanted to make him a unique set of armor, and especially the helmet, but hadn't finished making it yet.
You can tell in some other episodes when the transition between P1 to P2 armor is happening that the pilots still had P1. There is an example of this when there were pilots taking the P2 versions of Wolfpack somewhere and the pilots were still P1. I forgot the episode tho.
@@dj11o9erThere's a couple ways. The shoulders and breastplate (especially the lower part) are more angular on phase-2, and the belt is different as well. Also, while not visible here due to Rex's pauldron, phase-2 has a more pronounced vertical split in the chest. There's some other subtle differences but those are the easiest to pick out.
Yeah, this entire operation was a cluster for the Republic. First the Mon Cala get captured. Then the clone troopers get defeated and captured. Then the Gungan army is convinced to help (since they can fight underwater) and, you guessed it, get defeated and captured. Some of the Mon Cala get freed first though, and a handful of clones. And then the Quarren finally switch sides back to the Republic and defeat the CIS forces.
Im corious how Kaminoans decide which clone should be Scuba trooper ? Maybe lungs capacity and high reaction time was crucial.. well but to bw honest one of the worst specialization clone can get i mean you fight with warrior that all live spend underwater so you in the lost position from the start also you can't have numbers because use of this clones was so low during war that only one battalion was ready to deploy in any moment next ones was just regular clones getting fast scuba training ( that's why they call for Jar jar people suport during this battle))
0:56 Phase 1 and Phase 2 armor, In the movies the clones only changed their helmets but in this show the armor had a big change The way the Phase 2 armor looks is how the Phase 1 armor should always have looked in the show.
I love watching the aqua droids form up into units where the majority of their firepower is blocked because they act like they're operating on land and just picking an arbitrary "ground" level. Clearly, nobody told whoever programmed those things that the enemy's gate is down.
I know it's kind of a younger person show, but their entire battle plan seems to be "repeatedly abandon positions of advantage because some teenager yelled "attack"
Every time I watch clones charge forward to punch droids instead of using their blasters, I die a little inside. The guy in the pilot movie who rushes into melee, breaks his hand on a B2 and gets shot is just so utterly senseless it can't register as anything but tragedy to me.
Awesome clones they fought and died with honour it’s just a shame the system they were fighting for was corrupt and the whole time they were being used as weapons to wipe out the Jedi and they had no idea
If that battle took place over the course of days and entirely underwater, how did the clones (and Jedi) manage food and water? Can’t exactly take your helmet off at the bottom of the ocean
Perhaps the clones that were present during the first day were replaced by new ones, so that the first batch of clones could recover and then get back into action. I didn't watch the show so please do correct me if there is a explenation.
I don’t think it’s shown, but I would assume for air that the tech in their scuba gear is sufficiently advanced that it can pull air out of water through electrolysis. As for eating and resting it wouldn’t really surprise me if they had portable shelters using shield bubbles (or some other strong expanding material, though I’d bet on basic shields) where they could pull the helmets off and eat on the sea floor. It may not seem like it sometimes, but Star Wars tech is more than advanced enough to pull that off; all without ever having to return to the surface. As stated idk if it’s ever shown or mentioned, but that’s my head-canon at least and I think it fits well enough. Hope this helps!
I like how this brings memories of the 2003 Clones Wars Animations. Watching Kit Fisto Bring his Scuba Diving Troops to action.
Subnatica if it was multiplayer
Just noticed this small detail but I’m pretty sure Rex is wearing phase 1 armor at 0:58

How could you tell from P1 and 2, I can only tell from the helmets...

Everyone talks about Umbara being a bloodbath but Mon Cala had 3 separate armies sent in and destroyed in combat
The Clones are great soldiers
they sure are!
I feel sad they’re all extinct in the Galactic Civil War
Good soldiers follow orders
Separatist too !

Yeah, you'd think with a specilization that niche you'd have worked on a new strain of genes (IE a non-human species) specifically for it.

Very cool Clone troopers. Thanks for the upload.
If you think about it... Such fights under Water are scary like Space Battles. There are barley a clear Front nor a top or down like in space.
My absolute favorite clone trooper armor. They just look so cool

The clones are goated
Clone troopers are the best, especially a big Clone Troopers fan! I would be Commander doom!
clone is the best
Welcome back to 2025
2022 nope ?
UwU
So do the scuba clones like to eat scones?
Your back❤
Arguably the worst job in the GAR
