Just because it's black doesn't mean it's venom, in my opinion tobey got a simole symbiote, not venom.

@Hmm-nq7jm I can see where ur coming from, in my opinion I feel like tobeys symbiote didn't get the time to evolve with Eddie to become venom because he still had venom's face just not his consciousness yet and in the fight between them when Tobey gets the symbiote off Eddie I felt like there it was trying to reach its full potential trying to become venom feeling he was about to lose but couldn't without a host, I feel like if Tobey didn't blow up Eddie and venom at the end of that fight maybe venom would've actually came out

@Hmm-nq7jm sure, see when venom was first proposed, he was intended to be Marvels attempt at an actuall horror character. If you've ever read the spin off comics from the 90's when I did as a child, when I could afford them lol, Eddie would live in subways, homeless and feed off of certain chemicals in human brains that coincidentally, resemble certain chemicals found in chocolate. That's the ONLY nod I have noticed to the origonal character as in the Tom Hardy Venom film, the first one, the symbiote is hungry for tater-tots and chocolate. Eddie Brock was a bad guy, tom hardies character isn't. Topper Grace had the right character attitude but didn't have the build, also the symbiote did not talk to Eddie, it was more of an emotional communication.
