I don't understand why we can't have animated superhero movies at the same time as live action ones (The Incredibles aside). It would allow for alternate versions of characters and stories and give minor characters a chance to shine. Come on Disney, you own Marvel AND multiple animation studios, make it happen!
I mean more of them. Disney could be pumping them out as fast as they are live action movies, but so far they haven't bothered to greenlight a single animated superhero movie (again, except for Incredibles 2, which is based off a previous Pixar property, not Marvel). Even this movie is made by Sony, because the Spider characters are the only ones they have the rights to. It just seems like animated superheros are relegated to tv or direct to video, instead of given big budgets for the big screen. Which is a shame, because you can do SO much more with animation.
I knew Nicky would be would be excited for Gwen Stacy! lol BTW Gwen is voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, who coincidentally is also in Bumblebee, your trailer reaction I just watched. Can't wait for Jake Johnson as Peter.
Technically Tobey Maguire was the oldest person to play Spider-man, as he was 32 when Spider-Man 3 came out, and Andrew Garfield was 30 when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 came out. Christi's right though, he was playing a younger Peter who was still in high school.
Miles Morales, this youthful wonder in comic world has illuminated millions such as myself with his moxy and amazing nearness in MCU universe. I am happy to see the spidey family they all look stunning. I appreciate this animated motion picture, never have I paused and watched this film from the beginning have watched it like multiple times at this point. I know the characters very well its greatly portrayed . Mile Morales, Jefferson, Rio, Aaron Davis, Kingpin, prowler, Doc Ock, Gwen, Peter parker, auntie may, penny parker, Spider-man noir OMG the rundown never stops its truly stunning and wonderful. Well done to the production and animation team to pick the ideal cast for the voice overs and it look stunning. The bond with the Father and the child is heart-touching same occurs with my father and me. I really want to see a sequal and progressively about this promising astounding spider-man and other flawless spideys from other universe. +loved your reactions beautiful people........
I really hope sony makes more movies including more versions of spider man because there are a lot. For example: spider man 2099, spider man noir, spider man 1602, spider man zombie, spider ham, spider ma'am (aunt may), spider man captain britain, tokusatsu spider man aka supaidaman, etc.

December looks pretty packed, with Spider-man, Aquaman, Bumblebee, Alita BA, Mary Poppins. Maybe that's why Disney moved up Solo.
