I can't hear Rolling Girl without thinking about Wowaka damn, it's the first time the death of a composer makes me feel sad for so much time. His music really connected with many people who were going through a lot. It's sad when you know the meaning of most of his songs and Wowaka's struggles with Miku and fame, but at least he left a mark in the VOCALOID community that no many can. RIP

I just want to say that this song is an EXTREMELY well portrayal of depression. you're constantly stuck in a loop of self-pity, but you're still self-deprecating. you find solace in your dreams, because no matter what you do, you feel lonely. (0:30 to 0:38) you're always surrounded by people, but you feel lonely. when praised you feel like the ruler of the world, but when you get the slightest hint of failure, you go into a mental spiral. (1:05 to 1:18) you live every single day feeling lethargic and fantasizing about escaping your problems, but then you can't help but feel scared of it. you start to wonder if it's really worth the effort, because no matter what you do, you're still going to be living everyday. then at 2:48 the music starts to get more chaotic, because that's your mind. the overlapping voices are in your head, but they affect you outside of your head too. You're drowning in your own emotions, until you truly begin falling because that's what you wanted in the end. I've recovered from my rolling girl syndrome, but I would not wish it upon my worst enemy. if you're a rolling girl/boy/person, I'm you'll recover too soon! it just takes some time.

I think she might be in some sort of limbo, and the ending with the collapsing stairs is maybe her remembering how she died, via jumping off a building. I've been listening to this song for a long time, I only understood a fragment of the lyrics in japanese. I thought to myself "this song is really good, i like the melody of it". today i decided to turn on the subtitle in english. now i realise how deep this song is :')
ill drop my ramblings about my visage of this song so do feel free to disagree in the coments of this post (btw tw: sh, not EFL, depresion, mentions of suicide): as we all know "rolling" is meant to represent "living", so the rolling girl is a living girl by extention. but the way i see this story going is this: A girl (that shall be refered as Miku from now on) is facing depresion, and keeps telling herself that one more day rolling will be ok. during the first courus we see the boy that sticks with her through the depresion. on the next verse, we notice that Miku resorted to things such as self harm to push forward for one more day rolling. the second courus begins and we see her pushing through again, as the boy asks "Is it enough yet?" like he is confronting her about the situation, and, in her spiral, Miku pushes him away. as the second courus ends, Miku takes her hands to her neck in an attempt to end it all, but he bursts in, grabing her hands, forcing her to stop it before she dies, as the final courus finaly bursts into a wild world of color and hope as they talk with the words "Is it enough yet?" It was Deco27 that got me into Vocaloid. Actually the Japanese metal group Hanabie did covers of Deco27. I was neutral to Wowaka at first. After 3 months I am starting to love his music.
First of all “retexture” is a word used for hair and skin healing and cosmetics. Second of all, editing a model is called EDITING A MODEL. Third of all, texture has nothing to do with the RGB graphics of a model, which is what you were talking about with the wowaka heart edited on to her and etc. Texture is the feel of the model, which could be implemented with RGB graphics but most of the time you use selection editing. Texture is the feel of graphics not its appearance. Finally, please learn how to spell, use a dictionary, and how to use google to make sure what you’re writing A) makes sense and B) isn’t stupidity.

I've first listened to this song on was about 10/11 I didn't understand what the words were about and I always thought she was running from the statue she pushed but now that I'm turning 17 in three months I fully understand what this about and really really relatable that's why I love miku and other vocaloids they don't make songs only about ideal love or something too extraordinary almost every song they have is about teens and people's struggle I'm in love
i’ll never stop thinking about the very last moment where it says “stop breathing, now”, especially in this exact mv. it’s as if wowaka is telling us that we can finally rest, that we should stop grasping that one breath. i never noticed this until i saw miku’s movement as to close the viewers eyes, like they do with people who have passed. the way i interpret it, this song is about someone who is desperately trying to hold onto life, finding all sorts of silly excuses to do so, thinking that they have so much left to do. they want to do everything they’ve dreamed of at once so as to die with no regrets. in the end they accept their fate, finally resting their soul, without having fulfilled their wishes, because they just couldn’t hold on any longer.
Wowaka created a peace that resonates with me. Every time I’m mad, or things don’t work out, I think or listen to this song. If no one is on my side, at least miku is.

A girl (that shall be refered as Miku from now on) is facing depresion, and keeps telling herself that one more day rolling will be ok. during the first courus we see the boy that sticks with her through the depresion. on the next verse, we notice that Miku resorted to things such as self harm to push forward for one more day rolling. the second courus begins and we see her pushing through again, as the boy asks "Is it enough yet?" like he is confronting her about the situation, and, in her spiral, Miku pushes him away. as the second courus ends, Miku takes her hands to her neck in an attempt to end it all, but he bursts in, grabing her hands, forcing her to stop it before she dies, as the final courus finaly bursts into a wild world of color and hope as they talk with the words "Is it enough yet?" "It's fine" "You will probably be tired soon, right?" as the song ends with the two holding each other, almost like they are promising to fight the depresion together.
now onto my closing thoughts on this:
maybe my visage on this song is more hopefull than most as, well, i belive thats what the song is meant to bring, hope, a hope that you can go for another day rolling, and eventualy come out on top. i like this as it shows that depresion isent a hopeless battle, it shows that you can do it again, **one more time, one more time**.

I've first listened to this song on was about 10/11 I didn't understand what the words were about and I always thought she was running from the statue she pushed but now that I'm turning 17 in three months I fully understand what this about and really really relatable that's why I love miku and other vocaloids they don't make songs only about ideal love or something too extraordinary almost every song they have is about teens and people's struggle

When i was struggling mentally and was suicidal, vocaloid really helped me through it
i’ll never stop thinking about the very last moment where it says “stop breathing, now”, especially in this exact mv. it’s as if wowaka is telling us that we can finally rest, that we should stop grasping that one breath. i never noticed this until i saw miku’s movement as to close the viewers eyes, like they do with people who have passed. the way i interpret it, this song is about someone who is desperately trying to hold onto life, finding all sorts of silly excuses to do so, thinking that they have so much left to do. they want to do everything they’ve dreamed of at once so as to die with no regrets. in the end they accept their fate, finally resting their soul, without having fulfilled their wishes, because they just couldn’t hold on any longer.
Wowaka created a peace that resonates with me. Every time I’m mad, or things don’t work out, I think or listen to this song. If no one is on my side, at least miku is.
