  • A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carrying the Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (SBIRS GEO) Flight 5 mission for the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) lifted off on May 18 at 1:37 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

    Even though ULA doesn't launch often they still provide the best telemetry and updates during their launches!
    Congrats to the team at ULA for another successful launch.

      Absolutely true makes SpaceX look like they don't have a clue when it comes to that part of flight, i could bet money the feed will cut out on a SpaceX launch at some important point, happens every time

      @@WeBeGood06 Landing is OK for simple LEO missions, not for heavy GTO mission. SpaceX is massively using reusable rocket for its own low orbit cubesats.

    I know many people love SpaceX's footage, but I believe ULA is as cool as SpaceX.
    Especially view form launch tower @1:11 is one of the coolest I've seen recently.

      @@rameshpudhucode6862 The only reason SpaceX has so many launches is because of starlink. ULA launches will always be more excited then the SpaceX launches. I only go up and watch ULA rockets because once they liftoff they never disappoint. Atlas is one beast of a rocket and sounds much better and louder then F9, especially with SRBS attached.

    Highlights? Where are the Altas V Rocket landing videos? I've watched many a StarShip Crash Land, but never an Atlas V. Like, NASCAR, I came to watch the Crash, why wasn't the Crash of the Atlas V included in the Highlights?

    Are the Russians Still Making the Rocket Motors for the Atlas V & the Delta IV ? Thank God if so. We should get back together. Space & Earth should be a United Peaceful Endeavor. No humans have been out of earth orbit. CGI is Not Working nor is it Truthful.
