Most of the ppl in the theatre with us were laughing throughout the film but when THIS scene came on the whole whole theatre roared with laughter and some lady 2 rows in front of us literally laughed so hard she sput her soda out. So funny.
That is probably my favorite Ashleigh Burton comment of all time, and if it isn't, it was the one in Captain America. But yeah, "Anyone hear that phone? 'Coz I called it."
Yeah, and not only that but, when he says several times, "I picked a bad well to stop ......." Ended up sniffing glue and jumping out of the ATC tower window.
When you look at the line up of 50/60s stars who are not known for their sense of humour because, they spent most of their careers playing straight parts come into a movie like this and show great comic timing just makes this movie so special and hilariously funny, they just stood out on this film from start to finish
Back then, not as many kids got the joke, which might be how it got the PG rating. It did make a lot of parents uncomfortable though, fearing akward questions later.
How do you explain the boobs right in front of the camera in this PG movie after the line "By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?"
@@SerbAtheist Funny thing is that many kids nowadays probably have already visited P-hub. For some reason, back in the 80s, PG movies went harder but cartoon shows on TV went softer. Fast forward to today and it's the other way around.

I cannot but laugh at those females, pretending to be ever so embarrassed while watching this particular scene - I am absolutely sure that all of them personally are more than familiar with this way of pleasing their partner.

You're right, it was their first, and they were almost treating it as a serious movie! Indeed, getting an annual pap smear is just as important as going to the dentist twice a year, etc. I'm a old geezer and I know that tool is called a speculum.
Been so long since I saw those, still the peephole shower scene in Porky's. Can't remember the details of the chick who howls. Funny stuff and considered a bit raunchy at the time .

I only got that engines sound joke the third time I watched the movie.
“Did he eat the fish?” Is the best reaction in Airplane! reaction history
"The passengers had a choice of steak or fish." "Yes, I remember, I had the lasagna. "
