such a great video 😭 hopefully your channel will be booming after this and you'll get the recognition you deserved! 🎉 I'm an Oscar nerd, and my fave amongst all these is "What Was I Made For"
I remember seeing a video which featured a short segment from every song to win and I gotta say, the whiplash I received when Lose Yourself started playing was hilarious. It was just funny to go from nice, soothing low energy ballads to Eminem. I loved it though I don’t know whether I have a favourite from this list though as I’m admittedly not much of a music guy. But I can safely say that I had Naatu Naatu on repeat for about 2 months straight after watching RRR
3:18 this was a weak year for the most part, but manta ray is one of the most beautiful songs to have been nominated in academy history, I’m still bitter that it got beaten out by such a lacklustre song
In my opinion, the song has to be part of the film's story and mainly be performed in an important scene in the plot. I think it's absurd that some songs sound like the end of the film when the subtitles come on

I am both excited and scared to watch this as it is a niche subject I have deep opinions about Edit: Mostly W takes all around, even the justifications were exactly how I feel. Also appreciate the clear musical theatre background 🔥
So many swings from "big agree" to "big disagree."
I respect it.

Not defending song of the South at all but yo, zip a de do dah is a banger and James Baskett deserved that.

5:28 actually, it got a best score nomination.
You right, you right. I think I meant to say it didn’t get any song nominations.
Underated!
Loved that top 3!!
Really good vid
LET IT GO OVER LOSE YOURSELF?!? Good vid, would love some more in-depth stuff, but prob for the best you kept this concise 👍
I like Let The River Run.😊

First comment, nice video.
Unpopular opinion: I hate La La Land and City of Stars
