Here is a video based on the test conducted on the Shock Table at Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk.
The test was conducted with support from the Government of India, in joint collaboration with UNDP Nepal, Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC), and Institute of Engineering (IOE).

My question is that why the retrofitted building is on that side of hummer which may absorb less amount of energy and seismic loads, in contrary the non retrofitted building is near the hummer and of-course more seismic load will apply on it. I wish this test was done unbiasedly and the same seismic loads were applied in both buildings. (correct me if I am wrong)

The table should have been hammered from both sides so that both buildings are subjected to a similar shocking wave. Here unretrofitted building has absorbed more energy. Just a curiosity, I'm not doubting the experiment btw😀
