I’m 13 in year 8 and I’m going to go into health and social care when I go to college to be a paramedic and I’m choosing my options in a few months once I’m in year 9 (around November 2021) x
@@Hannah-pg2gb just a little warning, health and social care could get very stressful so I suggest whenever the teacher sets work get it done ASAP because it would all lead up to alot of undone work and u arent gonna get a high mark. xx

It depends when you do it within the course. For me, it was year 2.

No I have only done the level 3! But you do have to have GCSEs

My first exam is in January and then I have one in May. I really want to do well as I want to be a midwife. I’m trying to put all the effort I can into the course and using my frees wisely. hii i know this comment was a month ago and it's not from the publisher's perspective but i thought i'd reply to this comment amd let you know (if you havent found your answer already) that yes indeed hsc is very much an ideal path! i'd asked this question myself to my teachers on my induction day and they all said that this is one of the best courses and if you pass you can go on to study further for nursing! sorry my english is not the best but i thought i'd give you an answer if you hadnt found it yet x
where do I find past papers online
Either google the papers full name or ask teachers for them (I did that) 💓
If you have moodle your teacher should put it there
I just started health and social care and I've never done it, o really dont know what to expect

Yes there is an entire biology unit for the science aspect that is needed to go onto a health or social care degree.

Hiya! I was just wondering how did your health and social care GCSE go? I’m taking the Tech 2 health and social care GCSE in 2 years and I am not too sure what to expect. I would like to be a teacher when I am older so I know it’s better for me to start out revising and getting used to the subject before I jump in. Is there any key tips or a way to revise for this because I cannot find anything anywhere. Thank you!
Hey, I didn't do this course for GCSE I did the Level 3. You have 2 years to get used to the subject and be prepared. Just enjoy the experience and work hard and you will do great. I would recommend when it comes to revision doing little amounts as often in the week as you feel is needed. I found if I did large chunks of revision I would end up way too stressed. Also, create plenty of visuals like posters and photos to stick up on your walls to read. I also took time on my way to school to have different sets of like 10 revision cards for subjects to go over to refresh my mind, normally a subject I was going to do that day. Hope this helps a little bit. x

@@emilypegg3821 No course is ever easy so it takes effort but if you get stuck in it will be enjoyable and not hard. It’s just challenging and most likely a whole new way of learning a subject which I found super fun to do!! 🤍
