Yea they’ll have to go to Boston. But Boston hasn’t had a break , 2 7 game grueling series and a 6 game series. Denver had a sweep and a couple 4-1 series. So that extra rest should help out I think in the final round.

One of the craziest endings in an NBA game forsure.
I feel this was the craziest playoff ending since another game 6 in Miami. 2013 game 6, Spurs vs Miami. Miami down 5 with 20 seconds. Spurs missed 2 FTs final 30 seconds; and Boston missed a few at the end also. Lebron 3, and then Allen 3 off of O reb. This was a miss off the right on the mark Smaet 3 and right at the buzzer. Miami came from dead both games but couldn’t get the final rebound in this crazy game.
Also, just realized, that’s literally almost 10 years anniversary 😂
Ron Artest had a similar put back against the Suns I remember in 2010 in the conference finals. That was annoying.

According to Gregg Popovich Derrick White is a player who has a natural feel for the game. Yes a lot of this involves luck but give Derrick White credit for being ahead of the play. He inbounded the ball, spotted up for 3 and positioned for the offensive board for the game winning shot and he all did it in 3 seconds.
He is incredibly smart and his court vision is unbelievable. Pop rarely gives such high praise but truly deserved

Chuck is a much deeper thinker than the others. He makes it worth while to listen in. The others tend to say the typical run in the mill takes that most people are thinking already. Chuck gives us possible alternative scenarios and in-depth thoughts. If nothing else, he makes it interesting and entertaining.
Now if he can actually finish a sentence. Guy starts one thing and changes his point 28 times in one remark.

Greatest heads-up play by Derrick White like in NBA history. To take the ball out of bounds 30 ft from the hoop and have the presence of mind to run under and tap that ball in is incredible. Wow!
Absolutely perfect basketball. Perfect inbound pass, went straight to the corner in case of kick out, and literally sprinted to the rim once the shot went up. Couldn’t have executed better

Heat will always fight they have the most comeback wins look at what happen on the last 2 mins of the game. Its pretty clear that if it's a close game the Heat are winning until that lucky bounce by White. Anything can happen in the game 7 if Heat just keeps the game close or even a lead on the last 2-3 mins. The Boston will be in big trouble.
I will not be shock if game 7 would end like this again where it could be decided on the last shot. Both won 3 straight games. That could be a great story and ending and the finals is at stake.
Everyone thought Barkley was just spouting off about game 7 but he turned out right, Boston came out overconfident and with all the pressure and folded.. You gotta respect the chucksters basketball I.Q.
Congrats to Boston for Forcing a Game 7 in such dramatic fashion I must admit. Butler traveled on that play. Smart kept putting him on bad spot by switching for no reason. Horford block on Bam was huge. Horford does a lot for the Celtics.

Coach Spoelstra is so calm. Very underrated coach. However he talked about doing it the hard way and sure enough squeezing in through the play in is the longer tougher road but this Celtics is built for the hard way too. From them losing their coach last year to now. They are as tough as the heat if not tougher.

Celtics tried to give this game away. But Duncan Robinson missed 2 wide open 3's. White made a huge play so smart, inbound and cut right to the rim. Butler said one stop, forgot one rebound.

The last time I saw a team tie a series after being down 0-3 was the Denver Nuggets (vs. the Utah Jazz) in the 1994 semi-finals.
Boston maybe the first to win after being down 0-3.
Denver also came back from down 0-2 in a best of 5 and upset the Seattle Super Sonics (the first 8 over 1 seed).
I remember Portland with Rasheed and gang also forced a game 7 from down 0-3 against Dirk's Mavericks. Dallas eventually won game 7 but it was on their home floor. Not really sure what year though but it was around the Lakers era of Shaq and Kobe.
Idk if Miami can win a game 7 on the road in Boston though, not with the momentum the Celtics have.

Chuck makes a good point, Boston have all these lapses where they let games get away from them. Happened this year, happened last year and in 2020🤦♂️. They shouldn't be in this position, considering the talent they have. I think the pressure switches back to them again. They got two things going for them. Tatum usually plays well in game 7s and that TD Gardens crowd.

Huh? Lakers v Denver was an amazing series. 3 of the 4 games came down to the wire. Kings-dubs was amazing too. Been a FANTASTIC playoffs this year, one of the best if not THE BEST but I'll have to see how the Finals play out.

Regardless Celtics or heat making the finals, I don’t see anyone taking out denver. Side note, kings are gonna be scary next year, they definitely put everyone on notice against GSW. I’m from Cali. In between both sac and sf, and the energy was crazy from both ends.

Chuck is critical of the Celtics for letting Miami come back. That is not a fair and objective criticism. Miami needed this game and they played like it. You have to consider that the Celtics were in enemy territory with a crowd against them. It is no easy task to beat a talented team on their home court in the playoffs. This came down to the wire as should have been expected. Great game.
I don’t see how Kenny and Shaq aren’t seeing Chuck’s point. Celtics literally escaped with Jimmy and Bam playing terribly. He just saw the same Celtics who went down 0-3 and worried that’s who’s gonna show up Monday
I also thought Chuck was straightforward on that and easy to understand. If the Celtics play game 7 like the second half of game 6, and Miami plays more like the first three games, Celtics are done.
celtics also just got a win shooting terribly from 3 and a disappearing act from tatum in the 2nd half, minus his free throws. neither team played great

There a 8 seed who barely made playoffs. They shouldn't have ever been up 3 to 0 to begin with. Boston has outplayed them more quarters in this series. Game 1 and 2 Celtics had a good lead and let slip away at home. That's what they've done all year is give away games. But everyone knows talent wise Celtics are the better team so it makes complete sense if Boston pulls this off

I’m with Charles on this one. Nobody knows the future, but all the pressure is on the Celtics now and they’ve shown some serious mental lapses. But if the Heat does not have a ton of will-to-win they could fold in this away game. Fans will be crazy the whole game, something none of the commentators mentioned. Regardless, whoever wins this game will have some serious momentum going into the finals against Denver, who will be the favorite. And the fans are the real winners. 😊
