- In episode 2 of the Fried Rice Motorcycles where I'm reviewing cheaper alternative , mostly Chinese motorcycles I'm riding the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 back to Motomondo to pick up another adventure motorcycle. This time I'm bringing back the Rieju Aventura 500 Legend , a Honda Africa twin lookalike. Make sure you subscribe and don't miss out on any new episodes in my quest for the best buy for buck bike.

Although I am a KTM guy, I really like that you also try out the Chinese brands. Motorcycles are made by people. Since we are all part of the human race, why not look at Chinese or Indian bikes instead of only the premium brands
Yep my plan exactly , not everyone is fortunate to pay over 10k for a bike 😌
Kid dont even know that honda is a japanese brand...😂
2nd comment for the algorithm.
If you want to do clutchless shifting, you need a wee bit of throttle input, so there is no load on the transmission, sounds weird, but it's true. If you close the throttle completely, there is reverse load from engine braking on the transmission, and with that little throttle input, you counterbalance said load. When done right, almost no pressure is needed when using the gear lever. Works doing upshifts and downshifts
Another great video, Smokey!
Thanks again!
that mash X ride 650 looks ace
I bought the same color 2022 Himalayan a couple of months ago. your video was one of the reasons knowing i picked the right one
The old 650 of the F 650 gs is the Voge 650 dsx
The quick- shifter we were using ,that one shown by you, in the '80es ,no problem of settings 😂🎉 always answering great especially upside ,downside only for velvet foot 👣
Very interesting Smokey, 1000km that's crazy, to bad they don't have a dealership in Canada, at least I don't think they do. Be watching smokey
Loncin builds all BMW engines that are not boxers or 4 cilinders.
And no, shifting without a clutch, if done properly, is totaly safe.
Also, i hope you will alsp test out the Mash 650 scrambler.
The A40A16A is also built in Berlin
Mash is not a problem but I'm not in the Scrambler scene just yet 😁
I opened your video and it smells like fries and beer ! Love it🤪
Hey Smokey, when do you plan to release the second part of your video about the Rieju? My partner and I really enjoy watching your videos and we love your reviews. We always have a great time, and we also think that you are very objective. I am asking about the Rieju because I am planning to buy one in the next few days, but I am wondering if I should wait. Maybe there is something else that looks better. I think that your review and your tests will help me make a decision. Best regards from Poland
Saturday will be the ride review I think 😁.

I wish the Japanese would buy out the Italian brands. They’d make me more likely to consider them. The Chinese reputation for unreliability just closes this avenue for me no matter how pretty I find their designs. That 1200 X-cape comes to mind.
Some Japanese manufacturers have parts and engines build in China , in 10 years most bikes and parts will be made there I believe 🙈
@@LifeofSmokey without a doubt many currently source some parts from China, nothing against that, it’s the part about manufacturing and assembling the bikes there that make me wary. Though with recent geopolitical actions resulting in a decoupling from Chinese manufacturers…I’m wondering what that means for commerce overall down the line.
Great vid everyone gets offended I made egg fried rice last night it was tasty 😋 but I bet a Chinese person would make it betterer 🤣🤙
Schnitzel is Austrian, made from veal, unlike the Germans, who use regular pork. That's why in Austria you get the Viennese Schnitzel and Germany has the Schnitzel Viennese style.
Damn didn't know that 😂👌. Thx mate!
Smokey, great video and agree that adventure means riding in the cold. Besides, Starbucks has a great assortment of warm drinks for that adventure stop😂😂😂 I was not surprised someone asked if you were being racist… seems anything can be offensive these days.
Buy the Himalayan,I love it!👍👍
Hey Smokey love this series. Are you going to try and get hold of the AJP PR7? Pardon me if you already mentioned it but, I don’t think you have.
I think it's about a 13-14.000€ motorcycles , I'm only doing max 10k bikes for this as most people can't spend that much money :-)
@@LifeofSmokey Yeah my bad😁.. I didn't look at the price and I just learned about It. It looks like the Kove, which is below the 10k mark for the base model.
Tijd voor verwarmde handschoenen:)
Would be great if you could review kove 400 or voge 300 rally
Working on those 😎
Its like chinese whispers 😂😂
Je gaat vet worden smokey.
Hi Smokey! What mic do you use for ur setup?
Go pro 12 + media mod + rode lavalier mic. The mic is hidden in my cheek pad 😉
@@LifeofSmokey thank you very much!
I guess is the RODE LAVALIER GO, right?
I disagree... The GS smells more like Bratwurst.
