    Honestly the best way to prove a product is the scientific method. I've seen so many videos where a company pays an influencer to say "OMG THOSE THING IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE THING I DID JUST WEEK!". The hype train can only get you so far. Proving your product makes a lasting difference is the best way to market.

    Nice guys! If a 3rd set of shots was done with a "Dummy" weight (equal to the compensator in mass and center of gravity) attached to the barrel we could determine the contribution of the gas ports.

      Either way, I guess it works by dampening the muzzle rise. Plus it looks better then just having some weight sitting off the barrel

    I love Tandemkross and they have some of the best customer service in the industry. I am surprised no one mention how easy it is to clean Game Change Pro compare to conventional compensator. People should purchase just for this reason alone! That being said, I think the added weight of SS contributed more than port design in reducing muzzle raise, consider how light that .22LR pistol front is. Of course, I have no scientific testing to back it up. Hahaa.

    The dial indicator needs to be set below the barrel and preloaded more than the anticipated movement, so as to eliminate bounce and throw of the indicator plunger. You could get the actual movement of the firearm.

    Although the test was impressive. Kind of doubt that there would be nearly that much rise with a good solid hold. Surely the compensator would make some difference maybe a few percent. Unless I was in the olympics I wouldn't waste my money rather spend more time on the range and more money on ammo. but would love to see the difference with a good shooter with a good solid hold. Difference would probably be negligible and only important in the rarest of instances.

  • @DrPosion

    I like the comp idea and I'll be ordering one. The test setup is completely unreliable. Since you have high speed camera you should have just placed a metered board behind the muzzle and had the camera capture free muzzle rise. Why is your DIal at a Different Reference Point with the Comp on in comparison to the Comp being off? the Black marks on the dail with the Comp on where at the 10 and 2 but with the Comp on they are 2 and 4 why the Change? That makes it look like you are changing the dial to make your comp look better than it is!

    • @TANDEMKROSS
      @TANDEMKROSS  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching and for sharing your feedback. We weren’t using those dials as reference points. You can see in the video that when the firearm is at rest the hands of the meter don’t line up with the dials. You can also see that the dials aren’t always in the same place even on different trials for the same gun. For example, at the 4:00 mark the dials are at 5 and 7 in trials 3 and 4. Those marks just didn’t factor into how we were measuring the muzzle rise. We measured the muzzle rise using wherever the hands of the meter started as our zero for each trial. Hope this helps make things clearer!

    • @TANDEMKROSS
      @TANDEMKROSS  6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hi Brik, it somewhat depends on what you're looking for. The original "Game Changer" is made from aluminum so much lighter weight. Some people like that, especially if they're using a heavier gun. However, in general we tend to recommend the "Game Changer PRO." It reduces muzzle rise even more than the original due to its large ports and heavier stainless steel body. It's great for balancing out a lighter weight pistol and it is MUCH easier to clean and maintain. We like to say the original Game Changer is a consumable part (you'll have to replace if you shoot with it a lot), while the Game Changer PRO is highly durable. Hope this helps! We've gotten requests for the type of test in this video comparing the two comps and it's on our list of videos to make!

    • @ericmiles8008

    I apologize for the late comment. I was just able to watch the video and while I believe the Tandemcross game changer is a great compensator, the video I watched showed someone using a dual indicator to try and measure the muzzle rise, this method is obviously flawed as the indicator jumped significantly after each shot. I think if you would have just lined up a machinists rule on the opposite side of the muzzle, the high speed camera would have caught the actual rise. Just my humble opinion. Good job on the comp though..

    I'm not here to bash Tandemkross, but the test setup seems to exaggerate the real world effect of the compensator. Removing the spring from the Ransom equipment is like removing my flesh and muscle from my firing hand(s). Throwing on the super sensitive machinist gauge further inflates the effect. I doubt they are intended for any purpose with such rapid movement. I might still buy one, but it's hard to justify. Now the Halo charge ring is almost certain.

      Game Changer is excellent, but the PRO is better. - PRO is steel (vs. aluminum) to add weight for better balance, more accuracy. - Proprietary coating makes cleaning the compensator easy. - Vents gases at dual 45° angles for better visibility & control.

    I purchased a Tandemkross 1022 bolt and after installation it would not feed ammo. It destroyed ammo. I sent it back for a refund. It is going to take a month to get a refund. That really sucks. I purchased it from Optics Planet. I do not blame them for this substandard bolt that was obviously flawed. That lies on Tandemkross for quality control or lack of it. It really screwed up my plans. I called Ruger to see if there had been any bolt changes in the 2020 models and they said no.That it must be a faulty part. I will keep my original bolt seeing how there was nothing wrong with it. The reason for buying a new one was to avoid problems like failure to feed and failure to eject. All I got was failure to feed. Makes me never want to try another upgrade. I purchased 3 upgrade items for my Hipoint 995ts from McArbo and 1, the charging spring was to long and would not work. The next was a stainless steel charging bolt that hipoint forced them to recall. The last item I purchased was a trigger spring. I have no idea if there was any improvement there because I installed it the same time I installed my HTA MBS 9 Stock. Hopefully I keep that. It seems like aftermarket parts are being produced to quickly without proper research. Just my 2 cents. I know the Tandemkross bolt has been out for quite some time so that one is up for debate. It just sucks to have to do other peoples testing on my equipment. On the bolt the only difference I noticed was an indention on the bottom bolt rail that my original one did not have other than the pinned firing pin. I don't know for sure if that was where the problem was but it looked like that was the culprit. I'm done trying to improve this anymore. I had planned on replacing the barrel but after all of these parts that absolutely did not improve shit I'm pretty much done.

    Not happy at all with my TK game changer. Installed on a Ruger Lite 22/45 pistol, 6" group. On a 22 rifle even worse and dangerous debris blowback. 1" groups without this piece of crap.

      We've never heard of any blowback, that is definitely not normal. Also, groupings will not change so something else is up. Please call customer service.
