[WEBINAR] "Teaching Grammar Communicatively and in Context" with Joshua Cabral

One of the ACTFL Core Practices is to teach grammar as a concept. This means that grammar should be addressed within meaningful communicative contexts, rather than focusing on grammar rules. We will look at various procedures, such as Structured Input, PACE, and Dictogloss that guide students towards an understanding of how grammar functions.
The workshop will also focus on benefits and challenges of ​iImplicit and explicit grammar instruction.
Ultimately participants will gain a solid understanding of how to approach grammar concepts within a communicative context that does not lead with isolated grammar structures, but with communicative goals.
