@SonofCapwolf I'm a little more optimistic now- as Marvel seemed to have shifted their printing resources more to classic material. Never would have thought we'd get ROM, Micronauts or Strikefirce Motomori- but anything seems possible these days.
They'd reprinted and even finished reprinting Morituri before and it's new printing as an Omnibus is likely only because the writer died rather than anything else. They have very nasty practices of waiting until someone is dead to reprint stuff (there were almost no Ghost Rider collections until Gary Friedrich was dead). The other two you listed, and Godzilla and many other things, are long-standing license issues and they're striking when the iron is hot and have come to an agreement. I don't see a Man-Thing Vol. 2 ever happening - Vol. 1 skipped issues to begin with and tried to squeeze everything they could into that and then the paperback versions of Steve Gerber's Man-Thing never completed either. Then add in that this series was cancelled and it's story never officially resolved, I can't see it being collected anywhere beyond a comprehensive Man-Thing Omnibus and that would require a re-release of Vol. 1 with different contents, likely an entire Vol. 2 and then a Vol. 3 to get to it. Unless Man-Thing becomes an overnight sensation played by Ryan Gosling in a movie, I can't see this ever being collected.
I was at the comic store this afternoon and I saw Marvel Fanfare 9 with a JM Dematatis story in the $1 bin and picked it up. I bought it because of your video today.
@@SonofCapwolf Those Dark Avengers were in the $1 bin at the comic shop and I flipped through them and it was issue 10 where Ares cut MT in half. I was reading the Parker Dark Avengers but I might give the Bendis comics a try.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It great fun. Thank you
Loved this series. Marvel released a Man Thing omnibus a few years back with all the 70s content. Wish they'd do a volume 2 with this and the rest.
I never believed they'd do a Vol. 2 even when they announced Vol. 1.

Didn't know about that one. It has the artist from Foolkiller too. Current vidyas crossover. Maybe Arkon will be in it too.
for some reason(s) that song
"this is a story of a girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world" popped into my head while watching this.
Never heard of it. I'm guessing it was one of those American fads, like The Dave Matthews Band, that never crossed over to England.

Oh it's a real toe tapper
Really liked this series when it came out
Did you understand anything after about issue #4?
@@SonofCapwolf I remember it getting stranger and that I liked the first couple of issues, so probably not 😂😂
Good vidya. You are at your best unearthing gems like this.
I don't know if gems is the term, gems usually are quite costly and you can get these for a buck.
Manthing fear.. .... Swapthing love
Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was always getting laid.
I know you have a good Man-Thing pun. Also, when people mention Ted Lasso to me, I think of Man-Thing. Addendum:. I'm currently reading Dark Avengers.
Man-Thing is in issue 9 of Dark Avengers I think. Ares cuts him in half.
