- Hey party people! Thanks for hanging out with me while I share this new thanksgiving meal plan and massive costco grocery haul with you! I gathered everything I need and planned what I believe to be the most elevated, classic, perfect thanksgiving feast! It's my best work yet and I'm so jazzed to share it with you soon! Happy Thanksgiving everyone 😊 I used to be the ice bringer but I discovered I am pretty good at baking. I did 3 apple cobblers last week as a test run for coworkers and they approved. Still banned from cooking 😂

My Grandmother always made creamed cauliflower. I only make it once a year which is what makes it so special. It is virtually steamed cauliflower topped with a white sauce. Family loves it!
🎉 Happy Thanksgiving Wadsworth Family! From 🇨🇦. Don’t forget to cook the turkey in the oven all day at 200 degrees and baste every hour so the meat is tender and moist.😆
Every year it’s given that I bring “my” dessert. I always make no bake Oreo lasagna and my family always makes sure that’s what I’m bringing. And there’s never any leftovers! It’s crushed Oreo’s mixed with butter for the crust, cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip mixed for the next layer, chocolate pudding for the next layer and just cool whip for the final layer. I top it with mini chocolate chips and chocolate sauce drizzled lightly. I also make it every family vacation and bring it around so everyone can get their portion of it. Lol

Happy thanksgiving, and for putting out a video, because some of disabled peeps with no family still with us really enjoy having something to watch. I know you've been buisy, especially with b-days and holidays, but i hope you do more of the regular video's without so much voice over editing. I guess it just takes away from your natural humor, and watching you while you do the video makes me laugh, and i need to laugh to keep from crying. I'm sure many people tell you about their health and struggles, but the struggle is real. Sometimes the pain i am in every day of my life can be to much, but when i can laugh, it seems to draw my mind away from it. G-d bless.

I always cook and bring the food to my moms. Turkey. Stuffing. Mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, honey garlic carrott, rolls, fruit salad. pumpkin, pecan and apple pies

The last few years I’ve made all the food. This year I’ve had given my mom the easy staples. So I’m bringing the cranberry tart, stuffing, deviled eggs, sweet potato casserole, mini pumpkin Bundt cakes, fudge, Mac and cheese, and broccoli. Fingers crossed we get it all done in time to have lunch at a decent time.
My dish I am known for is pumpkin and apple pies. They don't look the best, but they taste the best. (homemade crust).

Hage u seen the towel roll trick with the grapes!? If ur put them in a towel n roll them back and forth on the counter gently it takes the stems off

Kim, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family. It’s 6:30 am here in Missouri. We just celebrated our 50 th wedding anniversary. We are retired and I have always done all the cooking. The thing everyone waits for is my dressing. Just a family recipe but the special thing is that my oldest grandson has been helping me make this every year since he was four and he is 20 now. He comes the day before every year on Wednesday and makes it with me. He was so small and x
He used to need a stool to stand on. I love every minute, he still makes Xmas cookies with us every year and his girlfriend joins us. Memories are beautiful

"Demerol sugar" would be outstanding...if you want everyone as high as a kite! Demerara sugar is pretty good too, in cakes and bakes and on oatmeal!
It's so interesting that you mentioned Carrageenan (sp??) As an ingredient. I'm doing research right now, bc I think that I'm sensitive to it! My sister in law has a lot of food sensitivities and she and we're discussing some of our common "trouble" foods. My husband and I are currently working to remove the carrageenan from our foods to see if I have less digestive stress.

Happy Thanksgiving! I have hosted 39 Thanksgivings. This year my daughter and son-in-law are hosting. My specialty is my grandmother's stuffing. It takes me 4 hours to make. It's amazing!
We hosted and brought: smoked turkey (hubby smoked it for 8hrs!) Sooo good! We also brought 2 pans of cranberry dressing, gravy and 2 pecan pies. Yum!

It's ground cranberries, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, sugar and whipped cream. My mom made it for years, then I started making it. Almost everyone likes it!

Haha the pineapple reminds me of something.. I had put one in the pot and it took it 3+ years to give any fruit (because it was in a pot).. and when it grew it was very little.. so we waited for it to turn yellow and we plucked it and started eating.. it was obviously overripe.. so much that after 2 bites me and my family were sitting on the ground and felt drunk 😂😂😂😂.. so drunk we had to go take a nap for it to go away. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Our haves to in our house for Thanksgiving is: appetizers- jalapeño poppers, little smokies and BBQ sauce, crab dips, cocktail shrimp , veggie tray. Side dishes, regular stuffing, oyster dressing (yuck, only make it for my oldest), deserts- have to have cherry pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, Texas cake, rice crispy treats, sugar pie, cheesecake, and cookies and cream pie. Dinner rolls. We get frozen dinner rolls thaw them out and let rise, baked them up. Grandkids make homemade butter. Hope everyone Thanksgiving is a great one.
I make Miss Kaye's Sweet Potato casserole (from Duck Dynasty.) I don't even like sweet potatoes but these are out of this world!

It's good to keep a jar of jalapenos in your pantry, for times like you ran into this day, when you forgot the fresh jalapenos. You could also keep some small cans of green chilies, as a "substitution" in case of "emergency". That's what homesteaders do.....they substitute with what they have. You've always been good at that!
