Thank you for being so thorough and taking the time to put out this build up. I just finished up watching the entire series. As one who is getting back into the hobby after a very long absence there is a lot lot to learn. My first car was the original gold pan RC10 with a wiper no speed controller. Guess I am dating myself now LOL
Lou I remember those days very well. I ran a gold pan rc10 and also the JRX2 back in the day. Glad these videos helped. Let me know if you run into any problems when you do you build. I will be doing a second series on the 6.4 called the ultimate stock racer. Coming by the end of the summer. Also check out the playlists.
Love the videos. Did u end up with some up n down movement with the bellcrank? Mine says to put washers in it but I have no washers that will fit my top hats, did u run into a issue like this? What size washers did u use? The ballstud washers won't work.
Thank you for sharing I’m going to get one of these kits too.. can I ask what servo are you using and also what sort of run time will you expect to get out of your lipo Reason asking over here in Ireland we have a new club indoor carpet racing buggy club.. and wanted to know how many lipos should you need for a nights racing thanks
I am using the MKS 575sl. The mks 550lx is another great option. For lipos I have 1 per car and just recharge between runs. I have not really tested my cars for maximum run time but they easily make a 7 min main. The battery capacity will vary based on the mah of the pack. I am using the highest mah I can find in the ulcg thickness which is 4400 mah. For stock motor classes you will not want to go any lower than this mah and I wouldn't exceed roughly 6000.
Do you use black grease where the kit says too. I just picked up the t6.2 didn’t come with anything green slime or black grease Can I just use silicon grease or a substitute
When I am building a stock spec car I generally do not use grease inside the gear box for the gear mesh. I do use grease everywhere else the manual says. You can watch my build series on the b6.4 for all the details. Using the kit black grease is not essential. In fact, I only use the kit grease for my turnbuckles!

@@RCeXtra Thank you for the offer of help I just might take you up on it. Looking forward to the next series.
What length of sensor wire will fit best? 100mm 125mm 150mm?

Shouldn't require any washers in the bell cranks. Only the hat bushings. Ball stud washers are only used under the ball studs for the bell cranks.
Thank you 👍
