Regine is a legend in the Philippines for many years and can still belt with the best of them but to me Morissette is today's best, not just the Philippines but the world. She is one of a kind because she can do it all, sing high, low, in between, dance, rap, opera, country perform a a high level while singing on stage live and the most versatile performer out there today.Most people from North America ( i'm from Canada) don't even know about her, their heads are buried into singers like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodriquez and whoever does well on America's got talent or American Idol. These singers, although good, don't hold a candle to her. My opinion.

My two personal faves are Regine and Lea Salonga. Lea is the singing voice of 2 Disney Princesses (Jasmine “A Whole New World” and Mulan “Reflection”) and she is also well-known for her theatrical accomplishments in London and on Broadway. Lea starred in the original London and Broadway productions of the musical MISS SAIGON and won every major award for her portrayals. She was part of the 10th and 25th anniversary concerts of LES MISERABLES and was in LES MIZ a in London and in two separate productions on Broadway.
