Power Supply Giveaway! Can always use another linear supply. I'm actually working on building a linear power supply. Using a transformer from a golf cart battery charger. 36v @ 30a. I've been working on it for a while. Just now and then. Won't have memory and such, but sometimes I need that higher current. I have a few different UniT products. I really like them. I kinda wish they would have put the bnc jacks on the signal generator on the front though. I always have to leave that space to the side of it to reach in and make connections. You need to mention that to them. Great video! Happy birthday!❤
I wanted to say I’ve watched your videos and Uni T products always seemed decent. I got their thermal camera and I’m very impressed. Now I got one of their lower end basic power supplies and it’s perfect for a little tinkering.
Thanks for your feedback! I used to watch Uni-T multimeter reviews - and mostly on their low cost meters - and I wasn't sure...but now that i've seen what they have - I am a fan;)
Not bad for a new model, good review. I was recently looking for a new to me linear, but decided a used B&K Precision 1790 32v/20A lump was the best bet for my needs for a higher current model. Power supply giveaway - hey, I can always use another. Three isn't enough sometimes.
It is great so see Uni-t showing you some support, hopefully we can get your numbers up so some of the or brand also start showing some support. Also do this mean you get to hold on to the analyzer a bit longer :D. I would love to enter the give away as my Phillips PE 1645 is a bit cumbersome for regular use, but unfortunately I feel shipping to the Netherlands would be way to costly 😢.
Bummer, can't see the red volts display, bet it looks good in the lab though. Linear supplies are nice but usually expensive, BUT, if you're going to Give Away Power Supply, that's cool. Have you tested the new multimeter you got a while back yet? Thanks Eddie.
UNI-T always has such nice industrial designs, however the colour choice for the display needs changing as red is hard to see and looks invisible from a distance, even on different equipment, yellow, white or green would be a lot better choice IMO.
Tnx dude. Very nice PSU, The only thing that is strange to me is the intensity of the red voltage display. It's almost invisible on my monitor. Maybe it's the angle of the camera or the gamma of my monitor.
Thank you! Yes the Red color just does not show on camera very well. In person it is much better - but still doesn't seem as bright as the other colors;)
Power Supply Giveaway! I'm in the market for a new PSU for the bench. I've got an old linear variable + 5V fixed unit that I homebrewed and has served me really well, but I'd love to have a constant current capability. Thanks for the good reviews and info.
i momentarily thought it only shows amps and watts and that's odd. probably due to poor contrast he can see it on the screen but we can't through the camera
Power supply giveaway Interesting I browsed other comments but did not see anyone say the voltage display looked blank on my laptop. I could see current and Power but not volts.
The source is very good but it has a problem that personally annoys me - the red color displayed on the screen at voltage - if you have strong light (sunlight), you can no longer see the indicated values - that red color is no longer visible in strong light.
Thanks for your feedback! It does look much better in person and on my bench - but I could see if I was near a window with strong light coming in - maybe it would be hard to see. But on my bench - even with my strong video lights - it looks good.

Power supply giveaway! One of these days I'll win 😂 happy birthday!
Good luck! Thank you!
For some reason the Voltage Display and the OFF text is invisible. Is it a color that your camera can't see?
I'm guessing it is a red display, and his camera isn't sensitive to it.
Yes the red looks much better in person.
Another looking good low frequency switcher from UNI-T. Voltage display is a little bit dim.
Thanks! Sorry the red didn't look good in the camera. It looks much better in person.
HI Eddie, thanks for the nice video. Happy belated Birthday, Hope you had a great 🎉Birthday.
Thanks - I appreciate you!

Thanks for your feedback! I'll have to do that multimeter review. The display does look great on the bench;)
Power supply giveaway... love your content. Happy birthday!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you!
Can never have enough power supplies!
LOL - It is nice to have a linear if you have room on the bench;)
UNI-T always has such nice industrial designs, however the colour choice for the display needs changing as red is hard to see and looks invisible from a distance, even on different equipment, yellow, white or green would be a lot better choice IMO.
Yes I agree. But in person it looks great. But other colors probably are better.
@@KissAnalog I have a FNIRSI buck-boost with an OLED display, and it has the same issue, luckily they chose red for the power output.
It is too bad it looks so bad on camera;)
Power supply giveaway!
Thanks!

Thats a nice PSU ang great for the price.. love the viideo keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do! I appreciate you!
Power Supply Giveaway! Just sent back a new Hanmatek 310T. Many problems. Great vid!
Thanks for the great feedback. I wonder who makes the Hanmatek?
I did buy a cheap power supply for equalizing lithium batteries but I couldn't dial in the voltage the way yours does.
Thanks for your feedback! Yes this one does have very nice controls.
Odd that the volts display is considerably dimmer than the amps and watts. Is that a camera angle thing? Or is it really that dim?
i momentarily thought it only shows amps and watts and that's odd. probably due to poor contrast he can see it on the screen but we can't through the camera
Great Question! The red does look much better in person.
Yes it does look much better in person.
Power supply giveaway
Interesting I browsed other comments but did not see anyone say the voltage display looked blank on my laptop. I could see current and Power but not volts.
Thanks - yes it does look much better in person. I don't know why the camera did not pick it up.

KPS multimeter, not "KCS". I was wondering why my searches had no results 😅

more power supplies need remote voltage sense
Thanks! It can come in handy;)
Well..a free power supply is awesome, but I don't want you paying to ship it to me.
LOL - well in that case - I'll just have to keep it;)
@@KissAnalogSure, or find someone close, not in Ontario, Canada. I have given equipment to young people locally, who were super happy to get it
How does one pick a person??
@@KissAnalog I put an ad on a local FB group. I live in a small town, so this may not work as well in a larger area.
This Master Plumber here on the North Shore of Boston could surely use one!
Thanks Eddie for all you do! 😀
