as a hunter, I just want stasis shuriken buffs man. i'll take the nerfs. i just wish shurikens weren't laughably mediocre anymore. i'd genuinely argue they're the worst melee ability in the game - and no, the new exotic doesn't fix the problem, other melee abilities don't need to be barely better than useless if you hit them while being more difficult to hit than a weighted throwing knife just to have cool exotic synergy that they didnt really have until final shape (heart of inmost light class item / mask of fealty). the most comparable melee ability in the game is pre-buff, void 3.0 launch titan shield throw. much higher than average for a melee ability skill floor to consistently hit people with, barely any damage, mediocre subclass synergy benefit on-hit. the only difference is that stasis hunters don't have a better option - prism does, and unless you specifically want freeze, threaded spike is just better in every way (and even then, duskfield and/or winter's shroud will do more than both shurikens combined 95% of the time). their damage is among the worst of all abilities in the game - worse in pvp, even worse after a ricochet (which requires a lot of skill to land if its off of a wall rather than a player or enemy combatant - more than landing a ricochet headshot with a weighted throwing knife, trust me, i've done it multiple times WITHOUT arthrys), they require far more skill to land than the vast majority of abilities in the game (if you're not quite on point with them, aim assist won't carry you, unlike so many other melee abilities), the slow stacks they apply leave them the worst source of slow/freeze in the game (without exotic synergy), they have one of the highest melee ability cooldowns in the game (the second charge does not really compensate - their uptime is noticeably less than more powerful abilities like threaded spike despite this), they have basically zero use-case compared to other abilities except for mask of fealty or specific "hunters didnt have another better option" niche scenarios. But they get left to rot, never getting what they need.
I noticed that they changed how you switch weapons. Before if you switched from energy to heavy and pressed the button to swap you would go back to energy but now you switch to kinetic
Lmfaooo for Ex Diris they might as well have said “Yeah so we intended to buff the damage, but we actually forgot to, but everyone thought we did so people are actually using the gun now and we don’t want to go through with the buff because it’ll overpreform.” The development behind this game is actually insane to me.
PvP thoughts: I agree with increasing ability cooldown on Prismatic because of certain potent abilities that you can use back to back (x3 Lightning Surges, Swarm grenades, clones and smokes) at least until a more thorough change arrives, but among the biggest problems is Diamond Lances still being spawned on a plain melee with knockout. It also brings you to full health and is only on a 10 sec cooldown which is a guaranteed round win in trials if it happens, and it still not being addressed, especially with this patch, is strange to me. Add to it the potent buffs Titans got with Thruster having almost no cooldown and giving half of the health back with Lupi and Shiver Strike allowing for movement better than grapple with even less cooldown while having an incredible grenade selection. And I don't think the ability regen rate change will impact that by much. Beware, Revenant Act II is about to be the biggest Titan meta since pre-nerf PK bubble-overshield.
I'm 99% sure there was a TWAB either pre or early release of FS where they said they were going to change Knockout so that normal melees aren't considered 'powered' for making orbs (and diamond lances) But I guess that never happened 😂
13:56 Depends on what you're running. I would swap to Stasis Lock, or Specifically run blink and a weapon with Vorpal just to counter Storm's Edge. It has the same difficulty of avoiding as a T-crash, which I would rank both lower in difficulty to avoid than a Golden Gun or Winter's Wrath. Ironically, the Twilight Arsenal super feels harder to escape, due to sucking you into it if nearby the axe's impact points. The times I've felt Storm's Edge is too strong is when I Nova bombed one, they survived the Nova Bomb, but I died. Also, when it hits you through walls. Or the Hunter teleports 15m in the air and still hits you even though you jumped clean over it.
Can you imagine if they combine the supers into one? Ex: Nova Warp functions as usual but at the end you expel all of your void energy by throwing a Nova Bomb!! Stormtrance into Chaos Reach? Titan hammers into Burning Maul slam? Also give the ability to hold the super activation input to do an overcharged version of the final attack. Hyper Nova Bomb as an example…
I just wanted to remind that using like spirit of harmony (super on kills) with the pale heart weapons give u a LOT of super energy. If u equip 3 of those weapons it's even more super energy per kill. Or ofc using Bad Juju
Something to take note off. Warlocks don't have a way to turn one of their roaming supers into a buffed one-off version. I wouldn't mind an Exotic for Winter's Wrath or Daybreak that turns them into one-off's. For Winter's Wrath they could make it so that you fire off a single massive stasis crystal that impacts a target or ground and afterwards shatters and freezes everything within a set radius. For Daybreak it would be awesome if you could pop your super and slam your sword into the ground ( similar to Well of Radiance ) and you expel a massive solar AOE Sphere that does damage and scorches enemies.
I honestly hope they do it to the stasis one as it’s a big reason I don’t use stasis on warlock without aegis scepter. It just dosent feel that strong and while I am sure there are builds that make it work I just can’t see to get the hang of it (though I haven’t really put much into it as I primarily main hunter and titan). Having a nice one off would make that super way more fun and viable and give at least a class something stasis has needed which is some new supers.
Only thing I will be changing for loadout on my titan will be for the new Stasis GL to pair with lost signal & surge mods and I'll use a re-found fave of Brigands Law with Pugilist Voltshot as my primary and lean into the stasis/arc frontline playstyle the artifact is pushing for. Hammer of Sol stonks just went way up with super changes though.
The problem with High Ground is a lot of maps have SUPER easy access to high ground. The terrain is not flat enough for a perk like that. You could have high ground and not realize it. I think they just need to change how it procs somehow.
That arc artifact perk is going to be very nice with the free voltshot indebted kindness they're giving us, along with the arc fragment that causes special weapon final blows to blind
The real problem with storms edge is the missbox. I call it a miss box because that shit didn't hit me when I am 8 meters higher than where the blade spin attack went. the super needs a hit-box adjustment.
So we grinded Gambit for weeks for a High Ground roll and you NERF IT!!!!!! Even though we were still being outgunned by Graviton and Elsies!???? I don't get it

Yeah man, Winter’s Wrath feels like a knife to a gunfight. Using Rimecoat is fun, but when you pop that super it’s so underwhelming. Makes me feel stoopid for even using it.
Oh yeah the super need's to have the ability to change your equipped granade to cold snap and have them recharge fast. Also the super only is good when you have iceflair bolts equipped, if you don't it's just not usable at base. Stasis needs more than what it has, it's real sad they have not realized this yet.

As a bow user myself you can bypass the nerf entirely with racontour using gutishot (gives it the ability to 1H1B kill in pvp) nonetheless I’m happy to see these changes
The knucklehead and high ground nerfs were defintely called for, but man that arc super nerf seems uncalled for. It already seemed pretty easy to just jump over or team shoot. But I guess that was the only decent super pris hunter had and they needed to tune down that class.
I have jumped 10 meters over where the little knife should've landed with that super, jumped out of its radius, watched it hit a wall... that super is broken cuz all those above don't do anything. That super bends reality and physics to team wipe
@@klubbs617 That's a skill issue on your part. Seriously, the slowest TTK pulse is faster than 120 TTK (.93 vs 1.00) with comparable range (and easier access to perks that actually change TTK).
I think the roaming super changes sound great for pve, and boosting damage to champions is a good incentive. But some champions still won’t care depending on the super. I think some of those supers need just some slight tweaks to make them counter champs better. Like attaching more of its preexisting effects to allow them better champion fighting. Imagine golden gun granting a single activation of radiant for you and it letting you pierce barriers. Arc Titans super causing blind on heavy(blinding aura on the one off as it comes close to targets like a literal star flying at them). Sentinel shield suppressing close targets while blocking(idk actually for this one, anti barrier is attached to volatile rounds and the shield throw exotic but suppression would decimate other supers) Anti-barrier needle storm. I think nova warp already has something? Arc staff has a blind in one of its combos I think. Most of the solar or stasis supers already have ignitions to counter unstops slow for overloads. Note: some of them might already have anti champion ability that I either don’t know or forgot about, but either way, more champ counters and reasons to super would be great. Feel free to toss more ideas out.
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I often take my super to orbit. I am so jewy with it, I save save save it for the perfect instance in which I shall pop thy super, destroying bosses or ads or both, or saving it to punish and destroy the entire opposing teams in PvP, but that instance never comes most of the time 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I vow to do better.
I wouldn’t know how to get in contact with the devs. But I have a suggestion to fix the roaming super issue, and/or make base classes appealing again (since most people gravitate toward the prismatic subclass now) Like transcendence is a mini super that has a special grenade, they should add something (I’ll call it Ascendance) that is a mini super for the base light and dark classes but it gives a unique melee instead. And most roaming supers have a unique melee, so why not meld them into a mechanic like that? Ofcourse charging the light and dark is part of transcending, so you would have to charge up twice the light energy or dark energy that goes to that base subclass, and the damage would need to be scaled to be closer to that of the transcendent grenade, but I think this would solve a lot of their issues with the current sandbox and also invite changes the players would most likely enjoy.
This is getting ridiculous for celestial nighthawk users. Now, star eaters is going to do SIGNIFICANTLY more damage to golden gun than celestial nighthawk will. What's even the point of running it now, if the exotic armor which only works ON ONE SUPER is outclassed by one that affects all supers? Not to mention, celestial nighthawk now effectively does nothing to buff still hunt now. Bungie please revert the Celestial nighthawk nerfs!
If Destiny was lore accurate then no gun, ability or exotic would ever be nerfed 😝 “We’re at war, and this Guardian is the only thing that can save the universe.” “Yes, but I feel like he’s a bit OP. Let’s make it more difficult for him.”
storms edge on console is basically an insta kill button for no matter what engagement, zero to very little counter play against it since you couldnt jump over it, but with patch i think it will be less agrregious
The problem I have? The PvP changes for prismatic are not stated in game meaning players wouldn't even know it's a thing. Yeah shocker not everyone follows every twab. Imagine something like a small text box saying "Prismatic abilities cd increased by 15% in this game mode"

their damage is among the worst of all abilities in the game - worse in pvp, even worse after a ricochet (which requires a lot of skill to land if its off of a wall rather than a player or enemy combatant - more than landing a ricochet headshot with a weighted throwing knife, trust me, i've done it multiple times WITHOUT arthrys), they require far more skill to land than the vast majority of abilities in the game (if you're not quite on point with them, aim assist won't carry you, unlike so many other melee abilities), the slow stacks they apply leave them the worst source of slow/freeze in the game (without exotic synergy), they have one of the highest melee ability cooldowns in the game (the second charge does not really compensate - their uptime is noticeably less than more powerful abilities like threaded spike despite this), they have basically zero use-case compared to other abilities except for mask of fealty or specific "hunters didnt have another better option" niche scenarios.
But they get left to rot, never getting what they need.
The warlock void melee would like a word with you.
Bruh there is a entire busted build and a exotic that makes them op as F. Wth you talking about?? 😂

wild changes on 120s
Instead of nerfing pulses let's make it even harder to fight cqc
I just realized there's a mod called the Thick of it
I noticed that they changed how you switch weapons.
And yet the thing is still not good people are just coping cause they barely used it before.
@@leonverris9991it’s only good because of the mods. When they take the artifact mods away nobody will use it again
@@AlegendArises dude your so right I forgot bout that. Damn bungo at it again.
PvP thoughts:
I agree with increasing ability cooldown on Prismatic because of certain potent abilities that you can use back to back (x3 Lightning Surges, Swarm grenades, clones and smokes) at least until a more thorough change arrives, but among the biggest problems is Diamond Lances still being spawned on a plain melee with knockout.
Titans have been the meta for two fucking years.
Knockout needs to be nerfed, diamond lance wasn't broken before it
I'm 99% sure there was a TWAB either pre or early release of FS where they said they were going to change Knockout so that normal melees aren't considered 'powered' for making orbs (and diamond lances)
But I guess that never happened 😂
@@FlashesSoccer011 You haven't played the game in the past few months, have you? 🤣
Bruh 3 lightning surges is anus compared to 3 consecration slams.
Lightning surge needs buffs (in PvE) not nerfs
so instead of fixing all the bugs in the game Bungie uses the time to NERF your favorite weapons WOW
Um no, They basically nerfed nothing and if they nerfed, they nerfed everyone.
Lol. Not Grab a Ton. Stay mad
Or the Hunter teleports 15m in the air and still hits you even though you jumped clean over it.
the vertical range on it makes no sense sometimes
still nothing on solar ignitions?
19th
I never had a problem with storms edge. I just blink out the way and use storms edge 😂
That would suck ass. Why turn multiple supers into one? Do you want less ways to play?
Or like that guy with the sword plunge in the Noah movie with Russel Crowe
Changes not affecting Chaos Reach is weird
The problem with High Ground is a lot of maps have SUPER easy access to high ground. The terrain is not flat enough for a perk like that. You could have high ground and not realize it. I think they just need to change how it procs somehow.
That arc artifact perk is going to be very nice with the free voltshot indebted kindness they're giving us, along with the arc fragment that causes special weapon final blows to blind
So with the super changes you just hot swap things that turn a roaming into a one off?
They never address the PVP long wait times in orbit. In Australia you can't even find a competitive match. It's so hard just to play 3 games a week.
It’s cause the game population is low
The real problem with storms edge is the missbox.
I call it a miss box because that shit didn't hit me when I am 8 meters higher than where the blade spin attack went.
the super needs a hit-box adjustment.
So we grinded Gambit for weeks for a High Ground roll and you NERF IT!!!!!! Even though we were still being outgunned by Graviton and Elsies!???? I don't get it
Weeks? I call BS. You’re quite the drama queen.

Another week boys and another Hunter nerf 😒
I haven't logged in this season. They can nerf away.
@@thenightingale7405 I've deleted D2 since Final Shape so ya, nerf away
I feel this deeply.
I think most people agree that hunters should be tuned down since they have been really strong since TFS
@@arthur_pd Storm's Edge unredeemable trash in PvE. No one who plays PvE thought it needed a nerf that applied to PvE.
Hey have you ever done a build with the warlock bond solipsism -spirit of synthoceps and spirit of apotheosis
OTW TO WORK, JUST IN TIME, CROSS; LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO
Anyone with the same issues I had with being softlocked on the Spider quest to get Ice Breaker: There's a D2 Checkpoint (not on the site, forgot what/who/where) that's right infront of the catty chest. You don't need to have the steps completed, just need the weapon. Join, pick up, leave, GG.
So when is hawkmoon becoming craftable
When D3 comes out. It'll be craftable with Ace of spades as well.
I have played with a semi good roll for 2 weeks now and i sincerely hope NEVER
@@ammuhautaavaikene123 I have almost a godroll with 22 thousand kills that’s why I’m waiting cause without hammer forge you can struggle with range issues
Arc Compounding could be good with QueenBreaker maybe? Though, a catalyst would be nice.
Ignitions fix ????????
Storms Edge on Console feels rough. If I dont have a suppression grenade it feels almost like an insta win. IMO.
I'll NEVER stop loving Cross's TWAB intro👏🏽.
#Loyal
From what I read or didnt read....So tether in the new Vespers dungeon isn't on the known issues list and Song of Flame isn't a roaming super?
Yeah man, Winter’s Wrath feels like a knife to a gunfight. Using Rimecoat is fun, but when you pop that super it’s so underwhelming. Makes me feel stoopid for even using it.
I only use rimecoat with prismatic so that's not an issue
Oh yeah the super need's to have the ability to change your equipped granade to cold snap and have them recharge fast. Also the super only is good when you have iceflair bolts equipped, if you don't it's just not usable at base. Stasis needs more than what it has, it's real sad they have not realized this yet.
one of the best supers in the game with one of the best all around subclasses in the game. If they were to buff the class it would go from a niche to unstoppable overnight.
@@Free5ssaying winters wrath is one of the best supers in the game is astoundingly stupid, respectfully
@@Free5s have you tried to use it in end game content like at all, it can't do much other than a panic pop button to survive a bit longer or raise a down guardian. It simply under performs in every way.
Still trying to get my stupid roll for the grenade launcher from the event Dx I'm pretty much lost all hope! But at least I should be able to finish two crafted guns from Garden this week! Hopefully!
Yeah I don’t about the roaming supers, I don’t think it will make me use them over one-off supers but let’s see what it actually looks like
At least it will make people able to do builds specific to supers i guess
Definitely not but it'll add more fun!
Stormtrance and Winter's Wrath might actually be worth using ngl
5:48 I feel like this might make star eater scales an even better option now as you will output the same damage as celestial nighthawk but you’ll be getting it faster
Hear me out, if we’re getting up and close… overload glavies
Love it.
If they increase the charge rates for roaming supers, this means that agers with mantle of battle harmony will have a ridiculous amount of uptime with its catalyst.
Ignitions: Hello remember me and how alot of weapons abilities and supers depend on me. Well im broken
Bungie: new phone who dis
The 19th of November supposedly
19th.
What i don't understand is why does Combination blow not increase Arc Staff damage. Arc Staff Damage is literally coded as melee damage.
I mean even when they persist in nerfing hunters, we still top the charts
Well obviously there’s more hunters than warlocks or titans how can you not? 😂
@ I’m trying to pretend it’s because we are superior lol don’t give me logic. Covert, my brother.
Wonder if spirit of contact carries the buff too. Hope so
Ayyyyy where my bow mains at?!!!!!! Im so happy they are reverting the body damage changes for bow. So many souls have survived with 1 hp unfortunately 😢
As a bow user myself you can bypass the nerf entirely with racontour using gutishot (gives it the ability to 1H1B kill in pvp) nonetheless I’m happy to see these changes
Stormtrance and storm dance exotic for warlock might be finnaly good good
Crown Of Tempests is gonna be awesome too.
I just tested arc warlock with stormdancers brace an hour ago for the memes in 50 round onslaught and it was already really good suprisingly.
I think it's about due .. you reach that 1 million subscriber mark.
Nah
@omensoffate ...Irony of saying no... but youre here helping the channel anyways.
Idk about yall but idt 120s needed a buff in pvp
They didn’t idk wtf bungie thinking they were fine as is
Right there with you, this is just the most tone deff thing since Nimbus. @@quentinb734
@quentinb734 i still lose to good 120 players even if I'm using the meta pulses
@@klubbs617 yea but you have to be a really good HC player to win a bad pulse rifle player. I think that is why the buff is happening.
@@klubbs617 That's a skill issue on your part.
Seriously, the slowest TTK pulse is faster than 120 TTK (.93 vs 1.00) with comparable range (and easier access to perks that actually change TTK).
Roaming around at the speed of sound. I’ve got places to go, got to follow my rainbow!
Legendary Bows need some love in PVP and PVE.
Sentinel shield suppressing close targets while blocking(idk actually for this one, anti barrier is attached to volatile rounds and the shield throw exotic but suppression would decimate other supers)
Anti-barrier needle storm.
We have had this pulse rifle meta for way to long.
Why they messing with explosive Payload, it’s ok the way it is.
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I often take my super to orbit. I am so jewy with it, I save save save it for the perfect instance in which I shall pop thy super, destroying bosses or ads or both, or saving it to punish and destroy the entire opposing teams in PvP, but that instance never comes most of the time 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I vow to do better.
“Jewy”
I wouldn’t know how to get in contact with the devs. But I have a suggestion to fix the roaming super issue, and/or make base classes appealing again (since most people gravitate toward the prismatic subclass now)
Like transcendence is a mini super that has a special grenade, they should add something (I’ll call it Ascendance) that is a mini super for the base light and dark classes but it gives a unique melee instead.
I love being a hunter
i dont think theres been a single twab where ive felt appreciated by bungie bro. we like the still born child while the titans are the trophy son.
Same 🙃
Haven’t touched PvP since they got rid of the special ammo meter.
Bungie please revert the Celestial nighthawk nerfs!
theyll buff it again next year probably
CN cant even 1 shot a GM champ. Twilight arsenal does near enough same damage as is to what CN GG can do.
ye they nerfed it to the ground unfortunatly. It barely does 700k with weeken and radiant but any other super on any other class does an easy million
I don't even play hunter, yet I still realize it's still good with still hunt
Celestial is good for burst damage in a short time frame. Not for sustained or total damage.
If Destiny was lore accurate then no gun, ability or exotic would ever be nerfed 😝
“We’re at war, and this Guardian is the only thing that can save the universe.”
“Yes, but I feel like he’s a bit OP.
