@@pierrebuieii3908I think there has not been Dick Grayson/Nightwing because (1) Batman '89 Burton-verse adapt (with Chris O'Donnell) and (2) stupidity of DCEU JLA need to pull him out of existence and dark, brooding Batman.
Also, I understand well everyone have opinions and sure the show is not winning best writing anytime, but I like the "Titans" show. Grayson does not need to be super dark, but the "Titans" Dick Grayson/Nightwing is different journey is different from the comic book Dick Grayson (and different from DCAU Dick/Robin/Nightwing). ln the end, each universe has Dick's core of a person with good heart. I am looking forward to Titans season 4 with Church of Blood🩸.
Sadly, it will continue be the impossible, but hope there will be, a light, funny, hopeful and good "Nightwing" movie/film for adaptation.
Nightwing is my favorite of the bat family and i wish we saw more of him in the animated movies

Batman is so dark well more darker than normal
You should also read the original origin as fully done in the "New Teen Titans" back in the 80s or 90s. Before the new "Man of Steel" rewrite of Superman's origin where he was NEVER Superboy. I have these comics bagged & boarded.
We did Judas Contract (I think thats the one) where the origin happens

I like this more cause it give a little more of the relationship of dick and Jason. We don’t really see them in their “youth” working together and bickering like brothers.
I was in 5th grade when this series first came out and I read them cover to cover RELIGIOUSLY. I had loose comics in my backpack all the time so they got battles scarred etc etc. I was growing up and so was Robin, this was a cornerstone of my childhood
Flash forward to 2013 and at free comic book day that year, Chuck Dixon was signing at my local mall for FCB and I dug out my old worn out collection.
He signed my entire collection and it was the coolest most surreal moment for me.

We need an animated movie about coming-of-age with Nighwing Year One as the base.
My plot will be this:
-Robin leaded the Teen Titans to capture Deathstroke once for all and Bruce is jealous, Robin decide to announce his retirement, but instead of beign fired Dick decide to quit and talk with Clark for the "exclusive" to have info about Krypton Tales and the one night only show in the circus, Bruce wants to make a loyalty test about using Killer Croc and Two Face with Alfred cover up, but Deathstroke escaped from jail and the test is out of control, so..

Is Jason younger than Dick? It kinda makes sense that he would be but most interpretations have them seem very close in age. In Gotham Knights Jason seems like Dick's burlier twin.

It's pretty fluid but I think he's around 5 years older as he's usually 18 or so when he becomes Nightwing and Jason is typically 13 when he becomes Robin
He is closer to Tim Drake in age
