Your garden is absolutely beautiful.! I can imagine the sense of peace it must give you walking about it. Your videos have given me much inspiration on designing my own space. Thank you and the best for a season of blooming beauty.! 🌸
I’m just blown away at how you’ve put such a beautiful garden together in a small area. You have been the soul inspiration for me building my garden. I can’t wait to watch your wonderful inspiring videos. Your videos are so calming. I get so many ideas, tips from your videos. They helped this gardener branch out to her own magical garden. I recently started a large raised bed garden area this spring, named it after my mother. I have to small raised beds, I have 5 raised beds there right now and will add more. Dahlias, strawflowers and many more are growing big and beautiful. In the back of the raised beds I’ve built and erected a pallet board picket fence. I bought a ornate iron bed headboard to use as a gate on the picket fence doorway to the back of my raised bed garden. In front of the picket fence I’m digging out a border garden for hydrangeas, lilies and other plants. Behind the picket fence I’ve added star magnolia, wild azalea and will add more as time goes on. I’m so thankful to have found your channel. Thank you so much for helping me to see I can have a beautiful garden like I’ve always wanted. But never dreamed I could have. I’m having so much fun planning what’s next. Designing this garden has brought pure joy into my life. Thank You 🙌🏻😢❤
Wow friend!!! That sounds amazing! I wish we could share pictures here. I’m sure everyone would love to see your beautiful garden. The headboard is a great idea!
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens Thank You. I found the old cast iron bed at a flea market. I bought both the headboard and footboard for $10. The headboard is a gate to the back of the garden. I’m going to put the footboard as a gate behind my greenhouse. I want to thank you again for being the inspiration of me starting on this building of my garden. I’m wanting it to be like an old cottage garden. You’ve given me the courage to “Do It Scared” ❤️❤️❤️
Can I just say that once you have that evergreen screen filling in in it's going to jump you to the next level. Like the feel of a private estate or walled garden or something- epic plans for an amazing garden
Feeling we are at the close of our days....my husband almost 82 and myself almost 80....and having had to remove all of our grass front and back on just under an acre in high desert, because of all of the drought we have had over the last number of years....things just aren't the same....we still get out but it's more of a trim and maintenance program now...., But still love the sunshine and birds and of course our cat loves to follow us everywhere to get another ear and head scratch ........and by the time we get the maintenance done it time for our winters again....Loving your garden....it's a beautiful garden. Very much a painting....a work of art.....so everyone, enjoy it while you can ....🎉❤❤❤🎉🎉 ..
Absolutely beautiful! Your hard work shows! We are also adding stone “floors” & paths to areas in our yard/garden-a fire pit and seating area as well as a pathway atop a slope. Thank you for taking us with you into your garden! I love it every time🥰
Your gardens are always beautiful but this year they seem to be so much more stunning. Your talent for garden designing is so evident and everything just works so well. I'm taking so much inspiration from you!
Good gracious! I can't get over how beautiful and lush your gardens are. Mine are still in a wake up mode. I'm with you on the catmint, it's such a wonderful plant and like you I am trying to repeat now the same plants (& not buy any more).
Your garden throughout the years has always looks fantastic, but I absolutely love the green, purple and pink color scheme!! Love all the new flowers/structures & all the other things you’ve done to your garden this year!!! This is hands down the definition of a calm and soothing garden space, everything is so cohesive!! Perfection sista!!!!
Maybe a company like Bower & Branch would partner with you to put in your evergreen hedge? You should reach out and ask. Worst they can say is,”No.” I love your garden and tours!
I can’t believe the difference you have made to this plot. Your garden is stunning, and very interested to see how you manage to mix your annuals and perennials to make not only a gorgeous design but also a working cutting garden. Amazing! I would love a video on how you plan your garden for succession of flowering for your cut garden throughout the season using perennials, cut flowers and annuals. Timing for me is so tough to ensure I have compatible things blooming at the same time….
Your garden looks fabulous! I'm so drawn to all the great seating areas you have created. It makes you want to stop and sit for a bit while you take in all the beautiful views around you.
This is absolutely beautiful. All the improvements you made work so well. And I can totally see hanging back by the raised beds in one of those chairs. Every view is stunning. Well Done.
I hadn’t thought about painting a picture but this year I am painting a flower arrangement that flows into each others area. You have been a inspiration. Thanks
Wow Danielle! I remember when you moved there…what a beautiful difference!!! You give me inspiration to continue with mine….which was lots of shade for years until a new owner moved next door and cut the wonderful 30 ft high evergreen hedge down and then my gardens were exposed to full sun…needless to say, everything burned up and huge weeds everywhere! It has been such a challenge…I’m almost 70 years old!!! The first thing I did was plant an Instant Karma Elderberry along that edge!!! I love it! Wish it was evergreen. I’m going with Green Giants so I don’t have to deal with the deer and they grow fast. Anyway, thank you for the inspiration your gardens are exquisite! 😊
I love your garden. It is absolutely beautiful. I've been working in upgrading a front flower bed int a cottage garden. I got some amazing peonies that are about to bloom. One of the biggest changes is that I took out a huge azaleas. It had spider mites that I could not get rid of and and a beautiful tri-colored weigela. It is gorgeous and I'm so glad I made the change. I also split and transplanted some Japanese Iris and planted allium and Angolique tulips along with two kinds of daisies, asters, and lilies.. The bed is so beautiful and I'm really in love with it. 🍃💜🍃
Every time I am watching your program, my heart just beating fast and I wanted to get up and do my garden like what you do yours. I have plenty of space but don’t know how to start
Oh Danielle, you're garden is stunning! I love the small changes you've made in widening the grass walk way, and repeating plantings. They make a big impact on the overall feel of the space. It is beautiful... all of it!!! You and your garden are an endless inspiration to me. I am currently reworking our backyard as it went from full shade to full sun when we removed a 50 year old carrotwood tree last year. I too want to incorporate repeat plantings, as well as layer plants from back to front according to height, though my garden beds are quite narrow. Thanks for sharing your garden, and your knowledge with us. Your gardening friend, Dede
Your garden rooms are just spectacular! A recommendation for your upcoming evergreens on the street side would be to plant them 3’ to 4’ apart. They will form a wall much sooner for you! Loved this garden walk thru! ❤️
Beautiful and peaceful garden tour…great garden plans ahead and lovely colors…I am adding a brick pathway and brick borders/edge to all my flower beds this year…also new fence but again waiting to see how far the money stretches…💜
I love the Antique bistro set !! It is lovely in its natural beauty. Your garden is naturally stunning, you put a lot of thought into every area . Very nicely done . You may want to add height to those planter boxes. Easier on the back .
Lady you did an amazing job on the stone patio by the raised beds... looks professionally installed. The brick "rug" under the sun bench looks great too... well done you! Garden is superb.
Thank you for the tour. I first watched you in May 2018 and have enjoyed all the videos so much! 5 years! You inspire me! I garden in 5a in southern Wisconsin and we have 20 acres with gardens, lawn, trees and shrubs comprising a couple acres of that. I am fortunate to have both shady and sunny areas. Right now the last tulips are blooming. The allium and camassia have begun to bloom as well as the anemone and ranunculus. I have about 20 large pots that are in several areas that I am planting now. Each pot is unique as I focus on hummingbird friendly plants. I have annuals still under grow lights and some outside ready to plant. Some dahlias are in pots needing to get hardened off. I seeded lots of snapdragons, dianthus and lisianthus and I'm planting them out now. My shovel is getting lots of use digging out weeds and digging in plants. Lots of weed pressure out in the country! I'm looking forward to watching your videos as you are changing your space. We gardeners just need to keep moving!
I added trellises between the posts on the side of my open carport. I placed 2 star jasmines on each side and a Carolina jasmine in the middle. I also planted between each of those Moonflowers. It should be an explosion of beautiful smells!! Working on a fairy garden near my street so when the children walk by they can get a taste of why gardening is so fun!
Hi Danielle, you have done a beautiful job designing your gardens! Your grandmother would be delighted to stroll through them and admire all your efforts to bring such beauty to your space! I love the idea of a living arch of hornbeam and could see a long-weathered bench at the end of the raised beds to draw your eye into that spot and a nice focal point. The hornbeam attracts aphids, cottontails and white-tailed deer. However, if that wildlife isn't something you have to deal with, I think the living hornbeam arch would be a great addition to that area.
Your garden is beautiful- so peaceful. I can’t wait to see how the evergreen hedge turns out. That will be a wonderful addition to make it more private❤️
Wow, Danielle, you are making some significant changes in your garden! I love them all, and they all blend so well together!! The bistro set and the garden rug are my two favorites so far. Isn't it amazing what a few changes make? Can't wait to see the new trees you will be adding. 💐💐😃😃
Wow your garden is really changing...you can tell you have been doing alot of work on garden design the last couple of years Danielle! I think I love that you put in the new Hydrangea anex or room the best. All the curves of your flower beds make everything look so natural and inviting...I love that look! Thanks as always Danielle, you are definitely an inspiration to me in my garden!!
Your garden is so beautiful in all the seasons. I’m working on fall and spring currently as well as adding in some Japanese maples and statement trees in the garden as well.
I feel the same way about ‘Mt Everest’ allium. I like them best in my garden where they mix with tall purple varieties. Then they break up the color and let you focus on the flowers and can form a pattern, but on their own they don’t shine like I thought they would.
I love your garden and everything you've done over the years. It is so beautiful and there is always something new to see! The new bistro set is gorgeous!
That Bistro Set is stunning, as is your entire garden. Thank you for inspiring us every single time you post; I know I always come away with something new to pursue.
Your garden and the work and thought you have put into yielded spectacular results! So enjoyable to see it progress and to hear your future plans. Each step you have taken had upped the enchantment in your garden. Bravo
I love your garden!! Gives me hope from where I am now. Little changes every year. I love the catmint idea and I love that hosta behind your bench! Beautiful! Love the acid green and can’t wait to see the orange dahlias with the lime green and purple! ❤❤
