PAPAJI - Its so simple! (Full Compilation)

  • This compilation includes powerful clips from different satsangs and is many people’s favourite.
It starts with a discourse “Keep Quiet,” in which Papaji explains that quietness is not something that one does, but our true nature. When Papaji says to keep quiet he is simply saying do not take up any thought; recognize what is always the case prior to, during, and after all thoughts.
This video includes the amazing clip of the man who asks Papaji, "Show me God" with the whole of Satsang bursting out in laughter.
This is the official TH-cam channel of H.W.L. Poonja, well known as Papaji, run by the Avadhuta Foundation, a non-profit organization supported by donations and grants. To donate (thank you) to help this channel continue and keep all content accessible for everyone, visit avadhuta.com/donate

I've heard and watched lots of gurus even the ones at greatest stages of their way to eternity, he is one of the unique's' and the name he has been rewarded is 'papaji' that means calling own father with respect and affection as we call in India, even when this word is mixture of English and Hindi. So calm and so pleasurefull his personality is. I must tell you that he was an intense yogi but chose to spread easiest methods to enlightenment🙏

When seeing these satsangs, attention is often caught by that young man always sitting to Papaji's right. He always seemed to be diligently by his teacher's side; taking care of business and managing the microphone for beings coming to sit before the master. What grace to have such a role. Wonder where he is now...if he's still in India or somewhere else. Funny the things the mind is captured by sometimes.

Oh My God, He is working hard, a real "blue collar," pick, axe and shovel kind of no nonsense, no BS, straight and sober, no frills, honest to goodness, shoot from the hip sage. And to top it off, he just happens to also be sweet, kind, caring and approachable. His Master, Ramana Maharshi, the rats used to eat his festering flesh and he wasn't even aware of it. So was his non-awareness of the temporal and total absorption is Reality.

I always love his videos especially his smile . There is one question I'd like to ask in case of the man after Papaji asked him ' without any doubt , tell me what you see now " , suddently he said " I see God " . But my question is that " The man see God at a glimpse or he was still in that state from the time he said " I see God " ? I mean " Could he maintain the state after he said he see God " ?

    • @davidcervenka1282
      @davidcervenka1282 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good day, sir :)
There's no telling if the glimpse remained or not. Nevertheless, it is not a question of whether or not "he could maintain".
Once the revelation occurs, there is a sort of vanishing of the personal sence in you. What remains is the imageless, spacious sence of Presence.
Thereafter, it is a question of several factors:
How well does one realize the profoundity of the revelation?
How strong is the desire to be free from personhood?
How much willing is one to let go of attachments to sence objects? Because so long as the attachments are more or even equaly strong as the freedom-desire...so long will one not be willing to exchange those attachments for freedom :) This desire for freedom must be the strongest one in you, otherwise you will postpone, or..you may leave this revelation to be "just a glimpse", "just a nice experience" and thereon you'll every now and again whine about how it left you :)
      Im speaking from experience :D

Why does truth/silence which is compared to sleep sounds more like death, also when its said, that all this is not real, also bring the question, if someone touches that quietness, he may not see the world but other still experience the same, so how can we call it unreal ? when i sleep i may be perceive the world but it's still in motion, when i wake up body is older, sun has moved, earth has rotated, so many have taken birth and so many have passed away. regardless of me being aware of it. if all this is unreal there is no need to bring anyone to any truth, cause they will disappear once the speaker passes away, why is there a need to speak even to anyone?

in a video papaji comments: 'this action is not doing anything is in Consciousness, this somehow you will have to understand and if you understand it is behind its Existence and you become all the atoms that exist in space' I summarized , the point is that not quite the fact that you understand that everything is Consciousness does not make you all atoms or whatever it is if we understand about photosynthesis we would do photosynthesis or whatever and that is not the case.

His concept of "I dont see God, so please where is he?" dropped :) so what remained was just Presence, where there are no needs and no doubts :) It was intuitive. Not that he suddenly thought "Oh so I am God?" :D no..
Though this egoless Presence is actually said to be God, one has no need to be always thinking "I am god, omg I am God" :D there's just aliveness, contentment, peace and a feeling of love. And e sence of looking out from a vastness :) without any sence of personhood.
