Tennessee 2023 - Part 2 (Cades Cove)

During our stay in Townsend Tennessee during our 2023 summer trip visited Cades Cove in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Nate’s mom and nieces and nephews came and stayed with us in our cabin. The views from the back decks were spectacular! We even had a bear climb a tree a few yards from the cabin (we didn’t believe my nephew at first when he spotted it)! At Cades Cove we drove the Cades Cove Loop Road which is an 11-mile, one-way loop road that circles the cove. We saw deer, turkey, and a bear. After driving the loop, we found a spot to pull off the road and play in the Little River. It was cold, but most of us braved it!
