This channel is pretty good at explaining things. I really feel that if the channel owner were to hire a voice actor to narrate the video scripts, this channel would really flourish!
It's just a five minute video.. But i learnt so much from this video that i couldn't understand by self-studying for several hours... So, Thank you, who ever uploaded this video😍😍😍😍.... The voice was not a problem for me 😃
more recent clarification for advanced students! - a rigid body can also have an additional DOF in that temperature or pressure can deform it's alignment or dimensions, so in some cases it can 7 DOF. we must take in to account it's environment which may without translation or rotation, incorporate any various twisting deformation in 3 planes
Thank you for the great video. Just a small correction: DOF is the MINIMUM number of INDEPENDENT variables dad describes the position of every point in the system.
Thank you very much for such an wonderful video....I have a doubt....We all know that superstructure has a negative degree of freedom....But could you please tell me the physical significance of the same or site an example??????
what kind of significance brother the more the increase in negativity the more the blockage to its motion , thats why almost all the airports have curved structure with pillars having -80 degree of freedom.
I couldn't get the 3rd no. what is the physical meaning, as we can see the wheel can rotate in a rotatory axis. On the other hand, the body is moving towards the z-axis. we have found 2 degrees of freedom, but the calculation is saying there is 1. What's wrong am I doing? But the video was tremendous, the level of thinking of the creator is beyond the expectation.
How many degrees of freedom an object can have at the same time? For example, a sphere is spinning clockwise and moving forward at the same time, i.e. it’s using 2 out of 6 degrees of freedom, can it have more?
1:40 why would each link would have three degrees of freedom if they were not connected? If they were not connected they could rotate around the vertical axis and translate along the horizontal axis, what is the third one?
i founf 4 DOF ( 6(3-1)-5-3-1 = 4 , -1 being for the Ball-ground contact, -3 for the the arm rotating into the ground, -5 for the pair between the two arms) for the 3D exemple at the end, is it right?
There are two cases.. one you can fix one end. Which means no degree of freedom is permitted. Or you can pin one end. In that case it will be having rotational degre of fredom
would be much better if the geometry is accompanied by mathematical expressions and derivations. figures give only an impression, do not give a feeling of proof.
in last animation i think DoF is one because all of another variables depend on rotation of first variable if the first variable rotate another variables should rotate so they are limited! who can help me understand the concept without formula thanks.
hello I am trying to find solution for packing of incense sticks , I need a solution to make a batch of 1000 sticks kind request as share information if you have any
I sincerely recommend everyone to not learn anything from this video. Believe me, the information provided is skewed and misses out on many things. Read a book; the information is much clearer in a book.
NOW I HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO FACE THEORY OF MACHINES. YOUR EFFORT HAS MADE SO MUCH CHANGES IN MANY OF OUR MINDS. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH.

03:45 you said 3 Lp but did the equation correctly. You helped me to understand it! Thanks
i couldnt understand why only rotational degree of freedom in a plane ... visualizing it makes it more understandable. great work!!
everything makes so much more sense to me now! thanks!
U hav more videos?

my only complaint is, use a real person instead of microsoft bob
@Dr. Irina Luminesk 🤭🥲🤣

2:40 to nitpick, the animation implies 2DOF as it is a cylinder joint that can rotate and still has space to slide along the rod
In slider crank mechanism, one crank angle is sufficient to define the position. So DOF of slider crank is one.
Thank you for the great video. Just a small correction: DOF is the MINIMUM number of INDEPENDENT variables dad describes the position of every point in the system.
Thanks sir.
The video have cleared my concepts
Plz make a video on how to calculate DOF for 3D space mechanisms.....
Thank you very much. It is very useful.
It's really very helpful. Thank you ✌️
how easily you explained mate...thanks

thnk u for the video, it is really helpful
This video was very nice i did know about DOF but i didn't know there was that fantastic equation
Peter Castle it's degree of freedom
Digibro sent me here. Good video man it really helped.
finally can find a playlist without accent
mastered it with this one video! Thanks!
Brilliantly explained!!!

Good morning by france, very beautiful and interresting, do you make kinematic diagrams ?
Your accent is good for french people. Thanks
Thank you sir... For this video
Number of degrees of freedom of two particles connected by a rigid rod moving freely in plane_____________?
@3:46 should say 4 links AND 4 LOWER PAIRS
I have a question.....
if one rigid bar in space(3D) with one end fix than how many degree of freedom
+hiren kachhadiya it's zero , because you fixed the bar. so it cannot be moved. you have constrained all the dof of the bar by fixng one end.
+Arun M unless by fixed he means fixed in position but able to rotate (like the base of a crane), then it's 2 DOF
There are two cases.. one you can fix one end. Which means no degree of freedom is permitted.
Or you can pin one end. In that case it will be having rotational degre of fredom
yes 3:44 he is saying 4 3
That's some quality content.. keep up the work..
Thank you this vedio is helpful
vedio
for the third example, why is there 5 lower pairs? Why shouldn't it be higher pair?
THANK YOU SIR!!!!
Is it really hard to find a microphone to talk into this day and age?
Its a translator voice...
Please make more video of TOM
I have read the lowest no of links required to form a mechanism is 4, but here we can see a 3 link mechanism, can somebody explain?
Good and beautiful.very useful.
would be much better if the geometry is accompanied by mathematical expressions and derivations. figures give only an impression, do not give a feeling of proof.
i didn't understand why he has taken in equation 2lowerpair and 1 higherpair i.e in 3(N-1)-2Lp-Hp
2lp doesn't mean 2 lower pairs...'lp' represents no. of lower pairs and '2' represents that it restricts 2 degrees of freedom
Shaurie Pvs thanks
and why there is 3(N-1)
why can't be like 3(N-1)/3(N-3)or only (N-1)
I have read the lowest no of links required to form a mechanism is 4, but here we can see a 3 link mechanism, can somebody explain?
That is a requirement to applie grashof law (s+l p + q) you would need for bars
*four
What's the name of the structure on the left at the beginning of the video?
thank you for damn good instruction
It's the voice of Paul bot
4:11 how is the slider link 5 a lower pair? it has surface contact why then? could someone elaborate
in last animation i think DoF is one because all of another variables depend on rotation of first variable if the first variable rotate another variables should rotate so they are limited! who can help me understand the concept without formula thanks.
maybe Middle triangle doesnt depend on first joint so its depend on what? in last animation!
It's this similar to the statistics population
make a video on gyroscope plz
hello
I am trying to find solution for packing of incense sticks , I need a solution to make a batch of 1000 sticks kind request as share information if you have any
can you please upload about gyroscopes plz?
Define static force analysis
in 4:12 i think its 4 LP and 1 HP
superb
it is agreat explanation
did you use TTS for voice?
I was wondering about the same.
Wow
good!
Thanks
gear of defnition
And just what is the next video?
#accesstoenergy
No subtitles
I sincerely recommend everyone to not learn anything from this video. Believe me, the information provided is skewed and misses out on many things.

I don't understand
wow
Robot voice
Pink sheep!!

Make video in hindi
This man is totally confusing things and dictating things the individual bodies must have 6 degree of freedom how is he telling that it has 3 dof
Great video. Horrible voice. Please let go of the computerized voices...
Thanks
