Thanks for that. I just saw one on eBay which was advertised as a ga110fc. I fairly quickly realised it was not one of those. After a bit of research I found it was a gm110rb. At first I was excited thinking I could get one of these for a cheap price. Then I came across your video and soon realised that it was a fake. You have saved me from making a big mistake.
Crazy how good they can fake them. I'm newer to collecting G Shocks, and I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell. Anyway, I subbed to the channel and have been binge watching your content, appreciate all the great content you provide 🙌
I don't see why it really matters. I mean yeah it's cool to have the real one but they're both watches and they both do the same thing. I have the fake one and I'm happy with it man.
If you don't see why it matters then u don't understand what makes a g shock unique to begin with. A g shock can take big falls and drops and keep ticking. You can put them under 200 meters of water etc. Those fakes will not do those things

The transparent wrist band on the original looks gorgeous.
The real one definitely has a higher quality look and sharpness to it but it's very hard to tell a fake if you don't have the two side by side.id be gutted if I was sold a fake.good description thankyou :)

I keep telling my dad that he shouldn't buy stuff off Facebook, but he keeps doing so and he just got scammed.
Today he came and showed me his new Casio watch and right away when he handed it to me I thought " theres no way this is a real Casio ".
I've never heard of this watch and neither had he, but he thought it was cool looking ( I personally can't stand it ) so he bought it.

Thanks for the informative video! I bought one of these used on eBay and this helped me determine I got a fake one. Immediately sent it back and luckily got a refund processed. Found a real one for even cheaper so it worked out.
Question tho, the gold plating around the bezel has tarnished over time (pretty used) and I’m wondering any cleaning tips for this material. Any tips? I’ve read regular soap with warm water, toothpaste or even a small amount of Brasso. What do you think? I’m giving it to a friend as a gift and wanna bring back the shine as best I can.

I have a fake one and i save a lot of money. The new Fake one is almost the same of the original except the light. And sounds. But still they tell Time.
Not even close to the same. Quality parts, the module, the battery etc. Try taking your fake swimming and see if it still works. You can drop a real G off the roof of a house and it will still work. Ur fake I highly doubt it. A g shock is so much mor3 than a normal watch or tool to tell time. That's what makes them unique

They have upped their game on these. The strap and keeper are closer to the original. The head and dial are the same as the fake you show. I have recently uh, seen, a fake one. Man the price is right....
Mine is showing some of the fake signs, but it did pass the 3 button test and it's working well. Plus the price of some real G Shocks like this is as much a rip off as the fakes IMHO.

Lol this is why i avoid g shock/japanese watches altogether; they're too easy to fake. G shock line is like the jordan/nike of the watch world, very very easy to fake and they're faked very very well. I'll stick to my swiss movement timepieces with the sapphire crystal face. U can get a good one for pretty much 100 usd and up, less if they're not chronographs. Gshocks are headaches.
