Good review, the Hybrid is a so much better to live with. Quiet, economical, quite fun, bigger than some larger saloons and acceleration is quite good. Reliable too. About the paddle shifter, you get it with the Hybrid L and S editions.
Very good reviews of both the Hybrid and the Standard Jazz. I currently own the older SV Jazz with paddle shifts and not sure what model I'd choose if I bought another Jazz. There was no mention of the battery life in the Hybrid and the cost of replacing. The standard 1.5 Jazz certainly needs more HP like the model that's available in the States with 128 HP which I was hoping would be availing in Thailand but that does not seem to be the case. Still no news of the 3 cylinder Turbo 1000cc which is available in the Civic sold in Europe and possibly in the Jazz later this year.......... maybe !!!

The Jazz is a better car by far. But I would hope the Jazz at least drives as good as the Swift Sport. Which I don't think it's impossible to achieve with aftermarket modifications.
I'm just quite disappointed to see the Jazz Hybrid with only 4 speakers and manual tilting side mirrors. but the car however is convicing with the 7 speed dct. Anyways, what's your verdict on both the top spec car and the hybrid? and in your opinion, how does this against the Prius C?
They feel like a higher grade product than the Prius C (But the Prius C better looking). And the Jazz is an unconventional multi purpose vehicle whereas the prius c is a standard four door hatchback
Why my Jazz feel so different as you mentioned..? My steering feel really weird, feel like don't know where its want to go and feel a bit vibration thru the steering.... I check its not the alignment or balancing problem so i don't know why.... and it's feel so Floaty at Highway drive.... and my fuel consumption really bad, rm20 trvel 70km only... and my mileage just 7k+..
Is it just me or does the door of the Jazz close in a very soft manner? I mean not to mention my dear Iriz again, but my car closes doors with a much more solid sounding as compared to the Jazz
comparing the cabin space with Iriz.. when you sit at the rear, you will definitely thought it's more spacious because of the dashboard is further in front. However you get less space for head clearance and the rear seat is a bit less wider than Iriz. 3 adults with the same size would definitely sit more comfortable at the rear of Iriz. The rear seat thigh support is also poor. I think that's the only disadvantages of Jazz compared to Iriz. The engines, the build quality, the gearbox are definitely better :-)

I curently driving Jazz for 1yr, and... it really not fun to drive at all... its feel floaty when at high speed... and need to do all those "ultra racing" stuff to get better cornering... Although its Ultra/Magic seat are really brilliant, and it's a really practical & "convenience" car to use on daily ... but other than that, the driving are really............................................... **sign**
Bobby Ang please give some info on the cars resale value may be after 3/5/7 years. It might be a plus for potential buyers. And your voice is often very low, why not try those clip on shirt microphone.
The soft touch and stitching on the dashboard and steering make's such a visual and quality difference feel.

+maximuscomfort so far Malaysia is the only country that received it out of Japan because of our "love" for energy efficient vehicle tax incentives.
The dual clutch gear box is worse than the automated manuals that are being discontinued due to customer complaints. Clutches only last 30K miles!!!

i think another reason of the body roll is because jazz hybrid use 15inch wheel while petrol full spec jazz use 16inch..

Iriz is only behind the ford fiesta, and ford fiesta is handling GOD. If Peroduas handle like Proton, we would have less Myvi/Axia crashes

This is not a hybrid. Its has an additional 48V battery for stop-start. Thats all.
Polo vs jazz which better?
+Suwardi Jelani Polo handles better does high speed cruising better and Jazz is hugely practical for its interior flexibility.
