My friend just went to Hyundai showroom to test drive the Ioniq. The salesman says these 2 cars are not pure hybrid as the Ioniq. Is it true?
Not quite. They are all pure hybrids, able to run in full electric mode for a limited time - useful in traffic jams. But the Ioniq has a slightly larger hybrid battery capacity.

why can't Honda use the atkinson cycle engine in the regular engine only models of the Jazz and City?
because 1.5 Atkinson engine power output is weak compard to 1.5 sohc i-vtec
Power output is weak. U cant even overtake a kelisa if u use that engine.
U should ask why honda not using normal otto cycle engine instead of atkinson cycle.

habib muhammad same stat when toyota prius launched in malaysia 8 years ago. Then, they you go. Thousand of cases including prius c hybrid battery problem in less than 100k km.
But how long can the battery last?
Depends on usage. But it's covered by an eight year warranty.

Hi. In conclusion, comparing the V Spec city and Hybrid city which one is better ?
Tough one. The V has the fancy bits (LED headlamps and fogs, leather seats, leather-wrapped steering, soft-touch dash pad, etc.) but the Hybrid drives better, and is significantly more economical. And at least the City has the full 6 airbags, unlike the City Hybrid which has 4...

Not really, the jazz hybrid provide 7 speed dual clutch gear box and electronic gear and also electronic panel. Just without LED headlamp and some features, perhaps Thailand spec also like this coz Japan now only release new generation of Jazz, do you think any B segment hatch better then Jazz? M2? only a LED headlamp slightly better but selling 103k for only 2 airbags? Before you said that please understand the B segment hatch market first...
When will Honda sell these in Europa? If they don't, Honda will be soon known as the firm, that used to sell cars in Europe. They don't, or they won't understand the market in Europe. They can build good cars, in Japan their are Honda that perfect fit the european market, but Honda is so #¥?\~*@????? So, after 4 Honda's in a row, You see I tried, I stuck with Toyota/VW/Skoda/Mazda/Kia?!?? Love the magic-seats, the LWC, the Hybrid, the space in the back-seat. #¥?? The Civic lost the magic-seats, no LWC in Europe, no Hybrid-Jazz in Europe, the Freed not in Europe, the StepWGN Spada not in Europe, the Shuttle, a Jazz/Fit Stationcar, not even that in Europe, would be great with Hybrid and I-DCD, but no they (HONDA) don't and won't understand the European market. Oké, China, US, those are bigger markets, now, but how come that Toyota is still big in Europe? Probably some blind people in the top
