At my plant they are making it difficult to become regular now. The management is tired of the call outs and bad performances from quickly converted people. Now, people have to wait 2 years to get converted, and even before it happens they do a full evaluation of your performance. I didn't have to wait 2 years when I started, I waited 1 year 3 months and they were tough on my class as far as performance goes. It was not easy at all. They watched every single break and lunch we took, I am not kidding. When we punched in to begin our tour. They marked down everything. They never told you how you were doing until that final eval.
One thing they did was they would bring up a random date and say your numbers were not good, what was going on that day? I knew that question would be asked, so I told the guys they are fucking with your head. It’s not the answer they’re looking for, it’s the reaction. I told them to say no excuses and it won’t happen again.
For me it’s the paid holiday and OT. I work on Monday, so I get a double whammy. Benefit of being a regular in a busy ass plant. If I was a MHA I would get just regular pay.
Tomorrow I start on my t6 routes. And so glad we have Sunday and Monday off. Quick question how much weight have u lost since working for the post office. I’m 6ft and I was 180 when I started now I’m at 160.. barely..
@@MailmanNick yeah I have to start eating more.. but am the type to just snack here and there when am working u don’t really take lunch. I’ve been used to eating only once a day in the evening .. for so long. But definitely need to start eating more
@@MailmanNick Gonna start forcing myself to eat breakfast… when I do it opens up my appetite for the day so I constantly eat more .. thanks for the advice

I'm 175. My bouncer weight was 210. I've gotten as low as 160 but I've been eating more meat and fruit.
