It's little things like this that Kubo does that you would never understand the true depth of until you re-read the series at least once. Back then, it meant nothing, but knowing their relationship now and what the name KUROSAKI means to Ryuken; it really puts into perspective how great Kubo is at foreshadowing. Now we know that the "boss" he was referring to back then was Ryuken Ishida and there was a reason why he used Kurosaki back then.

I wonder if Angel realize when Isshin saved Masaski inside her body, he carried Masaki like how Ichigo carried Rukia when he first saved her at Seireitei
This whole backstory is so well done in the anime, it gives a warmer feel to Isshin and his decisions, though honestly the Shiba clan were badly treated by Aizen and his actions over the years, there's only really Ganju and Kukaku left of the whole clan that's able to do anything.

Masaki: "If I followed customs and let someone die today when I had the chance to prevent it, I know my future self would never forgive me." They truly were made for eachother. *W* parents.
I saw somebody say this before, the timing is not that wild if you think that people with higher spiritual pressure are more likely to be attacked and we ve seen this, ichigo s friends and family geting targeted, that hallow jumping ryu and masaki, the scar on the aunt s leg, so masaki was probably attacked by hallows plenty times and this time was the moment she lost her powers. Btw i love how aizen said during that battle "i guess keeping their distance is in their blood" ahem, quincy, arrow =))

Actually they'd be cousins since Isshin is Ganjuu, Kaien and Kukkaku's uncle, so his son would be their direct cousin. So yeah, Ichigo and Kaien really could've been best bros had things gone a bit differently.
@@Kal911 Specializing in close range doesn't mean he can't use it at a distance. isshin has used it multiple times at longer range. Its just an amplified slash with spiritual pressure he can control how to use it. Just like ichigo figured out how to use getsuga still wrapped around the blade

Ichigo's Getsuga absorb his reiatsu in the blade and he can either release it in a flying slash which grows bigger and stronger or he can envelop his blade in his reiatsu to amplify the cutting power. And before you reply again to deny it, Kubo explained it directly in his site when he was asked about the difference between Isshin's and Ichigo's.
I think the time was really thet precise, she lost the powers probably before the encounter with grand fisher but she didnt know, what we saw was her trying to activate but she only had remaining traces in her
