- Because I couldn't find it anywhere, I decided to do it myself. Here are nearly all the great and always awkward interactions between Geoff, Craig, and everyone else. I tried my best and looked through EVERY show from when he first appeared until yesterday when I made this video. I included everything I could so enjoy. Big shout out to Malinky2Stoatir who is either a huge Late Late Show fan or CBS in disguise....but I got all the clips from that page.

Wow, I had no idea that Geoff went through such an evolution of change. Props to Craig and the writers and especially, Josh Robert Thompson for his clever puns, impeccable timing, and attention to detail. I can't wait to see what Josh does in the future :)

Clesarie Well to me before Josh took over voicing Jeff. Geoff was only just barely built before his upgrades xD.
Geoff was originally supposed to be a deconstruction of the late night co-host. He'd have like 7 prerecorded responses that Craig would respond with a remote control under his desk. It wasn't until Josh took over it one episode and the chemistry was so good that Craig couldn't go back
That pre-recorded Dalek voice with the bad timing and near-misses were hilarious! Thanks for this!
Whoever came out with the idea of a real life voice actor for Geoff, should get a medal....

Craig looks depressed in most of these episodes where Geoff is not voiced. Glad he finally has someone in his life.

@Pixel Unit: As far as I recall the original voice was Craig himself. They changed the pitch. I think there was another voice before they got Josh. First it was pre-recorded stuff . Then they switched to live voicing which really was an awesome move. I love the dialogues between those 2.
This video is interesting to see the Geoff transition, it hardly encapsulates the best of... First Craig recording some phrases, then Josh Robert Thompson got to record some phrases... but Geoff didn't really get good until Josh got to work Geoff in real-time... but then this is an old old video that missed the last 4 or so years of the show
I can't remember the episode, but something that had me laughing for hours was....
Craig: "Geoff, how about you do your Morgan Freeman impression?"
Geoff as Morgan: "How about I kick yo ass?"

The early Geoff really sucked.
yea early on Craig did the voice when he made up the robot, but then when Josh Thompson took over it really took off. This year was when Josh started doing everything live because it was 100 percent better than the old pre-recorded stuff.
Robot voice Geoff was the best.
I enjoyed the upgrades, but there was something special about the robotic voice..especially on the episodes where he’d malfunction
