How can you ever compare Sushmaji with the likes of Smrithi Irani and Kangana? She was the most capable and respected minister of the first Modi Cabinet - even more able than Mr. Modi to be the PM, if you take out all the smokescreen. I love how shekhar used “ the other side” instead of opposition.

As an admirer of Late Sushma Swaraj ji, I went to attend a meeting of Bansuri Swaraj. I was shocked at the outright lies she told and inciting haterad among residents present by stirring India- Pakistan partition. She openly declared support for her partly so that they can create a nation where all religious communities were mentioned except 2. I was SHOCKED!!!!!!!

dynasty politics is the worst form of democracy as it prevents genuine grass root leaders from emerging. This began in 1950s when Nehru made his daughter Indira Gandhi Party president and ensured that she accompanied him where-ever he went. only lutyen media can think of such title and assume that a dynast member becoming member of parliament is equated to women power. what other qualities these dynasts have other than the family they are born into ? next to arrive would be the famous damad who has already announced his interest multiple times and of course one can expect lutyen media to celebrate that as well. Lutyen media also has the habit of treating one dyanst (calling it family business) different from other dynasts (not calling it family business).

The Congress has historically been a family led party right from independence which intensified after it split.
In parties with group leadership, the individual leadership has had people occupying high posts for decades with the responsibility being passed on to their son or daughter till they also became ministers. Some have also been gifted leadership of cash- rich sports & public organisations. There are numerous examples of children parachuted into elections without any experience and only got elected because the party had a strong local base. Most parties are like that because politics is often more of knowing the inner secrets of society and manouvering effectively to collect personal & party funds; knowledge which cannot be shared with all or you may end up in poverty.
