    Great video. I appreciate your insights and strategizing. As the rec player who donked off to you in this video, it was still a pleasure playing with you. Since I rarely get to play Omaha back home, I will have to live vicariously throught your videos for my Omaha fix.

    That call against the kings was a masterclass. Well done.
    It feels like in PLO it’s always so obvious when a player has kings or aces given that most players elect to just call pre flop with everything except aces or kings hands. I’m not much of a plo player though so idk. I’m not downplaying your call by any means because it’s still so hard to call there given all the hands he could have.

      @@GMoneyPoker I play 1/2 and 2/5 NLH and 2/2 PLO. I may play some 1/2 PLO soon . Many times on 2/2 you can see a flop for $2. The double board $10 bomb pots on dealer changes can get crazy.

  • @PokerJeezus
    @PokerJeezus ปีที่แล้ว +2

    21:29 this is a terrible flop for your hand. You don't block the flush draws, and tons of cards bring in straights or flushes
    You say you want to bet here because your opponents are drawing, but the draws they'll have on this texture are generally strong favorites over your overpair

    Good analysis of the wrap hand - if you guys were deep like SPR 4 or so can it be a check back?

    • @GMoneyPoker
      @GMoneyPoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, after he 3 bets and the whole thing where he asks about the pot being open, I definitely can find an exploitative check back. Had I been the aggressor pre with an open or 3 bet (would have to be double suited for this hand), I would probably bet all AQ rainbow flops to apply pressure and balance made hands like sets and 2 pairs

    How do one learn poker theory ? do you hit the books or just play until you get it ?

    • @GMoneyPoker
      @GMoneyPoker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did both when I started out. Played a lot and studied books and poker forums like “Two Plus Two” (not sure if it still exists). I got good at Texas Hold Em and started playing PLO. I’ve just played lots of PLO and translated theory from what I knew in Hold Em.

    @17:35 why did u win when he had a 9 for a straight

    • @GMoneyPoker
      @GMoneyPoker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In PLO you have to play exactly 2 from your hand and 3 from the board. He would need a second card to make a straight. All he had were a K and a 2 which don’t combine with the 9 for straights.
