    Love watching you guys catching crappies. Haven't been to that lake almost 2 years. Awesome catches. Keep them coming = )

    Really appreciate the sonar views and tips. You have convinced me to upgrade my fish finder to one that has side and down scan...for use on lakes and delta. Just need to figure out which unit...have always been a Lowrance guy but your Hummingbird is obviously getting the job done. Another great video...thanks!

      Thank you. Either Side imaging units will work fine. You just need to calibrate it so the return will show clearly what’s under neath.

    Thanks for the video. I know where to try now. Fished that lake so many times (100+) and yet caught a crappie.

    So I assume you guys just drive around and wait for your graph to explode. Thanks for sharing. Time to finally upgrade my yak with a fish finder!

      We drive around until we see some then start fishing. As we find more fish/schools then the fishing just gets better. Thank you too.

    If I were to go out there in a kayak, what would be a good place to launch from? Also, what size line and gear are you using?

    • @fishingaddict5638
      @fishingaddict5638  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Since the rain, Berryessa has been un-fishable. No need to go there.

  • @portaboter6404

    Thanks for showing the details on the side imaging. I had been wondering about those long streaks. Let me know if I am understanding this correctly: If the boat and the fish are both stationary or moving at the same speed, you can expect to see the long streaks, whether it's side or down imaging or sonar, but if you see the shorter blips, the fish are either moving through the sonar or if the boat is moving, is passing over stationary or slower moving fish. Are you guys camping out there? How much is the launch fee? I like how there aren't any sea lions.

    • @fishingaddict5638
      @fishingaddict5638  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct. LOL no sea lions in lakes. No camping and Launch is $23
