The upside is that those "starving" people walking in raw sewage never got violent. Nobody died at Woodstock. There were no fights, even though so many people were drinking, smoking pot and taking lots of drugs. Woodstock could have gone horribly wrong, with dead bodies and violence, and that never happened.
