- This is the Super Secret level that can be found in the Custom Playstation edition of Doom. It's a short level, but very different from the other levels in the fact that it's more of a strange level instead of a regular level.
This level is accessible from level 58: The Mansion.
Really cool that it's the hardcore gabber/speedcore style and not generic rave/dance music. Still sounds modern.

I was so proud of myself when i stumbled into that secret area. My jaw was wide open while i giggled nervously at the humor of it.
2023, still turning it up to 10 while listening.
And Wesley Snipes thought he was hardcore when he walked into that vampire club. He knows nothing!
This level is so late 90's.
i remember years ago i rented doom from the video shop and there was a peice of paper with a code on it inside the box. I typed it in and was taken straight to club doom, most intense 5 minutes of my child hood... ahhh good times

Haha i remember walking up them stairs and this music starting. I was like wtf! Then seen all the lights and pissed myself with laughter. Classic level
Holy fuck, it's the original Bone Zone. Even the music sounds like something Vinesauce Joel would throw together in Ejay in 30 minutes.
It's actually kind of unnerving.

I used to play this level loads when I was younger (about 9). Coming back to this now being heavily into gabba and speedcore, explains why I enjoy it.
This was life-changing at age 13
I remember finding the cheat to unlock this level- it didn't describe it in any way, but i was keen to see all the PSX version had to offer.
Nearly pissed myself laughing when I finally saw it.

brilliant i remember this!!!! i just used to put the doom cd in my stereo just to listen to the tune i think it was track 6! We're talking ten years ago! haha brilliant memories! wicked upload! nice one!

I did not use epsxe to record this. I used an actual PS2 system with S-Video cable and a DVD recorder. That's why the quality looks so good, and that's why the cdda audio tracks are able to play.

When I first figured out this level I was so confused I mean like what what and why would they put that in doom that was so weird and it was also hilarious
i remember finding the codes to this level in a gaming magazine and there was also another secret level, monster condo or something like that, it was like this old mansion full of monsters

And also to PHOENIX202, Extreme Gangsta is the same track that is on the 1994 DJ Skinhead LP called Extreme Terror. It is called Extreme Terror (D.O.A Remix) originally but is called Extreme Gangsta the NYC Speedcore album. Either way it is the same track and a fucking heavy tune!

This level was on the sega saturn's version of doom also as well as a little game called death tank what a fun time that was

When I enter this level for the 1st time, I had a good laugh.
That's understandable...those bodies smeared all over the wall kinda creep me out.

this is such a freaky level, I don't have PSX doom, nor have I played it. Now I really want to play it.
3 months later...but the song is "extreme terror" by dj skinhead, you can probaly find a quality version here on youtube.
I agree, i only seem to find the surreal wierdness like, for example the corridor of meat near the end of the level, in games released in the mid 90s,i suppose its because doom never really explained much, or anything for that matter, leaving it up to your imagination. This game scared the hell out of me aged 8.

Along with "Tricks and Traps", "Club Doom" is my favorite level.
You can just pop your PSX disc into a regular CD player and it should play just fine, at least for the PAL version.

I remember the initial release of doom psx didn't have this level. I tried the code 100 times. I was pissed. Finally have it on a greatest hits version.

you're gonna fuckin love this, the code that was made for the prototype build of doom-jaguar could do BETTER graphics than the PC, but the company he was under for the port didn't want code alterations from what they wanted, sooo he was stuck with a shitty engine.
