  • Book review and summary of The Catcher in The Rye by J. D. Salinger. Let have a look at this classic book and the character of Holden Caulfield. Is The Catcher in the Rye worth reading? Maybe. But, I will also recommend 3 other classic books to read if The Catcher in the Rye is not for you.

Ive recently finished crime and punishment and its a very wonderful book in translation. I love Dostoyevsky s writing and the characters like Razamoukhin, the kind hearted and a companion of Raskolnikoff, Dounia and Sonia are very close to my ♥ heart
I will read Brothers karamazov or Notes from the underground❤
Love your reviews nd the way you recommend alternatives as well.🎉

Thank you! This feedback is great. Yeah, I try to present alternatives if I’m not super impressed by the book. Just a way to make sure people don’t feel like they wasted their time by watching the video.
I want to read Brothers Karamazov soon too! Love Dostoyevsky

What’s your motivation for reading this one? 🤔😀📚

@@BookLabBjorn first of all its my natural tendency to know the world through literature. And second i used to write reviews of art and culture on local weekly magazine so it was my job....reading routinely...without being motivated.🙏
