For those wondering, Sofia Mast was the guest commentator on this match. She is a talented young player and ~15 years old. Please try to be more respectful before posting… Comment sections like this are a really bad look for the billiards community.
How about having someone that doesn't know anything about pool and can read everything on the table. Articulate.
Yeah it’s not her fault. It’s the people who put her on the mic that are at fault. Makes it really hard to listen to and watch this match.
This one was intense
Seaman was lucky to play that long. Shane had quite a few uncharacteristic errors.
interesting game
@11:04 that was a foul shot since he hit the 9 first, even before the white hits the rail. You can see it, if you play it frame by frame, that the 9 moves first. Where was the referee? Not even close to the balls...
I had to play it at .25x speed but you’re right, cue ball clipped the 9 on the way in.
I'd certainly take Sophia's commentary over Tim's, any day.
Yea yes yea yes.. what a good commentator. 😅
Commentator : yess uuh yess uuuhh yess yesss
It's a kid dude. Chill

Whats the reasoning on not playing the best of three sets?
yes we have to be respectful to the billiard community and all... but damn.. putting up a 15 year old girl as a commentator.. it just does NOT work and is basically being disrespectful to the audience. After all the excellent commentary by the likes of Jeremy Jones and other knowledgeable players/commentators.. this is not a welcome diversion.
She can't help that though and I wish her all the best with her pool playing 🙂
who is her voice?
Yea yes yes ..!!! So annoying
Give her a break--she's a 15-year-old girl.
Lot of salt in the comments over the young lady commentating. Dissapointing. Good job young lady.
"Yeah.......yeah..........umm..... yeah......"
Someone please explain to me why a 7 year old has a mic
I think her voice is not normal
She’s 15
Any format that ends in a shootout is STUPID.
