You mentioned Snap needing a way to bring new players and old players in. I also think they have to really get better at card balancing. I actually quit because I’m just so sick of how arbitrary the meta is based on them overtuning some things and undertuning others. I can love a card or deck, invest in cosmetics, then it becomes competitively unplayable. You have Thanos who is broken then trash then decent then broken then trash. And then you had Loki unchecked for so long. And then 2099 who has been garbage for a year. Became too frustrating for me. But watching is fun! And glad you’re going full time! Congrats!
Also curious why Havok; I like Angela so far, but yeah Thena didn’t feel ideal since sometimes more than 2 cards (or less) seemed the move with this curve.
Interesting that you switched Thena to Havok?? Any reason?? The list I’m running uses Angela but I’m absolutely open to the idea Havok (?) may be better?? Thena I didn’t think would be best either but the Havok energy management always makes me nervous.
Havok I'm like half In and half out on. Games like clutter he's a beast because you can use him to fill a lane and still get big power there after to be competitive everywhere. Other games he feels like a burden. Then was good in some games when drawn early, but felt pretty bad on turn 5 and 6 most of the time because we were dropping large numbers of cards. I think angela is a great middle ground that gets to at least 2/7 most games without issue!

Bast + Agent Venom is so good because even when you do play AV on 2, you still have a hand of cards drawn before then, which Bast can hit.
