Panchami Ghavri ma’am seems to be very humble and positive. It would have been so great if all the casting directors were like her and her team. I would request you to bring more podcasts with casting directors and directors. Would genuinely love to see Mukesh Chabbra and you on a podcast. Kudos to you and your entire team🥂❤️
She definitely has amazing points for a new comer to learn before going to casting director.. And then comes these nepo kids who does nothing, no auditioning, no theatre drama, no acting courses. And get the lead roles..
Everyone this show has interviewed always had value ranging from good to great, as per my personal opinion. I don't want to choose the next guest. Open to learn from anyone. Either I will learn something new, or strengthen what I already know, or dispel any inaccurate ideas I have, or atleast give that particular individual's perspective to me that I may agree or disagree with.
You are absolutely wrong at 3:45 Panchami mam....the reason being that lead actors are also the speaking characters in a movie. And it's a truth that in our Hindi film industry the casting of lead actors is not done by casting directors but by production houses themselves. Isn't it? Prove me wrong on this point...i would love to be proved wrong.
Great interview, but I do disagree about if women in running the country not resulting in war. Look up the history and you will find with POWER a person becomes greedy does many wrong things. Hello I want to put my opinion on casting over here. Please point me wrong if you find anything worthless here. All the casting directors in the Hindi Film Industry only cast for supporting roles 95% of the times. If there is an actor who wants to do lead roles only, the casting directors can seldom help him/her. They only cast for supporting roles. So in my opinion they must be called "supporting cast casting directors". The casting process of our industry is very complex. And with nepokids mushrooming up, the real talent is getting ignored. Then what are these casting directors good for....if they can't give adequate breaks to talented people?

She's probably the first casting director I've not got scared of. She's so understanding like just by seeing this podcast. I'm just waiting for the day i audition for her , she's litrally the best the industry has .,she's so charming and beautiful .and one thing I loved most about PGmam would be her smile . These casting people are professionals and know how to manipulate and show that there is a set procedure to get into the industry in a set manner which probably differs a lot in reality Try not to make things look good unnecessarily when they possibly ain't in actual scenario

Its not easy task only if u r outsider. Constant servailance ? HAve u ever heard nawaz or manoj bajpai n their kids getting coverage ? all cameras on malaika, taimur, disha r paid. nobody goes n shoot airport look of outside actors.
How and on what basis is she saying that TH-cam is going to crash. What data, what logic or based on what algorithm is she talking. We all are evolving. The cinema hall might go away soon. I know sooo many who only like to watch few movies in the theatre which has magical theatre cinematic experience. Like Avengers, Batman, Aladin, Avatar but the mundane bollywood gripping thriller tale can we watched at our homes or at friends place.

Bollywood Movies May Not Work Unless They Don't Work On Their 1) Editing By Editing I Mean Fast Pace Edit but also slowing down where needed & also having eye pleasing colour grading , the BEST EXAMPLE OF BEST EDITING IS KGF2 the way 19 year old has edited the movie specially the action scenes , He every well knew how much pause in between the action scenes needed & he never let a one angle of action scene last more then a 1 second . Editing Influence Goes To Vlogger Like Casey Neistat Travel Vloger like camerawale bhaiya , etc 2) second thing to focus on is cinematography 3) third thing to focus on is how the story of movies should be potraited again editing matters in this too . 4) fourth thing to focus on is content/story, a story which has deep intentional emotions with a purpose along with a story which people can realate to just like a filmi style of 19's movies
Give same advice to non talented star kids who gets lead role without any training, experience or talent. But when an outsider asked for lead role, it's matter of laugh for her
that is because the leads are the face of the movie and most of the people go to the movies because of the leads, so it's obvious that they will pick someone who already has his/her name in people's mind, than someone who is completely strange, for example in the movie 99 songs ehan bhat was launched who was a stranger, even though he prepared so hard for the role, he still couldn't attract the masses, basically in India the leads are the usp, a shitty salman khan movie may work but a well thought of ram prasad ki tehrvi won't
Well these casting directors sound so good and giving in podcasts and interviews but reality is quite different. I am a learned actor and trust me I’ve been taken roles from by someone who these casting people are friends or family with. It’s a sad sad reality.
I'm taking this positively but you have to accept that nowadays audition are also not happening the kind of intros rather than Audition had act has barrier to even learn from audition.

I think since last 5-6 podcasts the conversation starts with whats the vibe how the guest is feeling. It makes it lil synthetic as a viewer. The ones with Hans Dalal, Captain Raghu Raman m, etc were so so naturally appealing for viewers. The attempt of making the guest comfortable is clearly scene in recent podcast. Before that it used to look natural!

1) Editing By Editing I Mean Fast Pace Edit but also slowing down where needed & also having eye pleasing colour grading , the BEST EXAMPLE OF BEST EDITING IS KGF2 the way 19 year old has edited the movie specially the action scenes , He every well knew how much pause in between the action scenes needed & he never let a one angle of action scene last more then a 1 second . Editing Influence Goes To Vlogger Like Casey Neistat Travel Vloger like camerawale bhaiya , etc
2) second thing to focus on is cinematography
3) third thing to focus on is how the story of movies should be potraited again editing matters in this too .
4) fourth thing to focus on is content/story, a story which has deep intentional emotions with a purpose along with a story which people can realate to just like a filmi style of 19's movies

that is because the leads are the face of the movie and most of the people go to the movies because of the leads, so it's obvious that they will pick someone who already has his/her name in people's mind, than someone who is completely strange, for example in the movie 99 songs ehan bhat was launched who was a stranger, even though he prepared so hard for the role, he still couldn't attract the masses, basically in India the leads are the usp, a shitty salman khan movie may work but a well thought of ram prasad ki tehrvi won't

Well these casting directors sound so good and giving in podcasts and interviews but reality is quite different. I am a learned actor and trust me I’ve been taken roles from by someone who these casting people are friends or family with. It’s a sad sad reality.
All the female actresses or female, they all say I have never experienced, just heard it...then who else had experienced casting couch??
I'm taking this positively but you have to accept that nowadays audition are also not happening the kind of intros rather than Audition had act has barrier to even learn from audition.

I think since last 5-6 podcasts the conversation starts with whats the vibe how the guest is feeling. It makes it lil synthetic as a viewer. The ones with Hans Dalal, Captain Raghu Raman m, etc were so so naturally appealing for viewers. The attempt of making the guest comfortable is clearly scene in recent podcast. Before that it used to look natural!
