  • here we go another public logo upload oh boy
    but this time, a really special (and rare) console that never made it here in the states.
    The GP32 is a handheld console made by a South korean company called Gamepark Holdings released on November 23rd. It competed with the Game Boy Advance, and it sported an ARM 9 CPU with 8 MB of SDRAM. Unlike those stinky boring basic cartridges, the GP32 used something called SmartMedia cards for storing its data. The console is more powerful than the aforementioned GBA and eventually became a homebrew console spawning multiple emulators, which is an impressive feat for a handheld console from the early 2000s. damn. you could even get games via an internet download. too bad this thing wasn't released worldwide.
    Seen when you boot up the console (Non-european firmware), more specifically on my end, version 1.5.7
