It doesn't work! I did not found a good way to permanently pin down the feet to the ground, they are always moving(it depends from the pose) - yes i used active pose tool. I search forums and this bullish lasts since 4.6 versions. It is annoying beyond measure especially if you want to change the balance and weight from one foot to another and just move the pelvis/waist. I can not understand it...i am not even animator and after one weekend with this soft i found it useless and frustrating when it comes to basic animation functionality :( Every person, comment and forum posts says - do not use daz for animation use something else, like iClone. This problem is really irritating if your character is in a low position - knelling leaning, squatting ect....good luck with animation :) If somebody found solution for this elementary problem, please let me know. For now i am searching for something more professional with better ergonomic, functionality and documentation. I guest iClone beats it in every possible way.
Very nice, thanks a lot for this awesome tip!
can you make tips about pinning the feet to stay while moving some parts especially the hips?
I would try the active pose tools pinning over the normal pinning
