After a careful walk through the area, you start to discover that this area is only dangerous because of the people around you. Realizing that, you made sure to keep a close eye around you in case anybody tries anything. However, you still relish this moment, as this is the safest you've ever felt.
After about 10 minutes of walking, you start to see random things on the floor. Trash, metal scraps, and useless items are scattered around the rooms with no reason why. The more rooms you walk into, the more trash there is until you finally get into the last room where you find a small group of people sitting and laying down on a giant pile of junk. When they see you, they quickly look in the other direction without saying a word.
You don't know if they're friendly or hostile, but you continue to introduce yourself in hoping of a conversation. A few look at each other while one of them looks away. Another stares at you and grabs a broken toy. "Do you have anything you don't want?", he says as he's playing with the toy. You start thinking about if you actually have anything. You kneel down and open your backpack to check for trash. You grab small glass vials and a broken metal bat.
The group looks at the stuff in awe. One of them stands up and starts to speak. "We would like to trade!", he says with a joyous expression. The group picks up random items like plastic bottles, rusty utensils, and some strange items. You decide to trade your things with theirs, surprisingly getting a good deal. You decided to throw in a few other items you didn't want. The group seemed to be pleased, as they start playing with the items like kids play with their new Christmas toys.
You stuff all of your new items in your backpack and start walking out of the room, saying goodbye while you left. The others wave and one runs in to give you a quick, tight hug before running back.

@@alexmalex8308 they aren’t emo, just less excitable, they prefer to be bored. The partygoers aren’t happy deep inside, they just can’t make a different expression and attack you because of the partyhost. The party poopers are the opposite, they are actually happy because of their boredom, they just can’t make a different expression and don’t attack because they aren’t in the partyhost’s control. That’s why they exist, to serve as opposition to the partygoers, a sort of yin and yang.
