Level 4 - The Surveillance Room

The rooms repeat themselves a lot, and it sometimes makes you wonder if you're looping through the same path. The drawn-out map that a kind group gave you is almost useless now, as it was only helpful to find M.E.G Base Omega. Although there are some other places marked down, there is no route that is shown. While you were paying attention to the map, you walk into somebody. You look up and apologize, only to find that this man's head is replaced with a camera. You gasp and back away quickly, stopping at a safe distance in case the man is hostile.
"Jeez, do I really look that bad?", the man says sarcastically. You cover your face with the map, only exposing your eyes. You apologize and explain how he just startled you. "We'll just pretend like that never happened. Let's try this again". He walks behind the wall to the other room and comes back in again. "Oh hello, sir! How are you?", he says as the camera beeps and whirrs, which you assume is him trying to make a happy expression.
You say you're doing fine and you ask him the same question. "Oh, I'm doing great, too. Just taking a stroll through level 4 again, like usual", he says as he looks around the room with his hands on his hips. "Oh! I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Aiden". He walks up to you and puts out his hand. You introduce yourself and shake his hand.
After a good conversation with Aiden, you end up realizing that there's an area that contains surveillance cameras you can go through. You politely asked if you can see, which he agreed to show you. After about ten minutes of walking and getting to know more about Aiden, you finally reach the room. On the door, a sign says "No Cameras Allowed". Aiden opens the door for you and slowly walks away. "Well, I'm gonna head back to my daily stroll. Nice talking to you! Have fun!", he says before walking to another room.
You blank out for a second before turning around to enter the room. Inside, there is a computer system with a few chairs scattered around the room. The place just seems to be a regular surveillance room, with random items lying on the desk like donuts and coffee. However, looking at the monitors, you notice that some of the areas look exactly like the places you were at before. Like the yellow rooms, the car park, and one even shows the office. You don't recognize any others, however. The monitors look almost 3-D too, making it seem like you can just walk into it.
After staying in the room for some time, you take one last glance before exiting the room and going on to find the next level. Maybe there's something to that room, but you shrug it off and go on with your adventure.

Sounds like something you would hear in a puzzle game with a "you got caught in a magical, covered in vines basement. Now, you have to escape and discover the origin of this magic" theme
