Hey Sergio, just wanted to say thank you! Your videos have really started to switch my mindset, I've definitely been my own worst enemy; especially starting on this journey from hobby to career. On your ending note there. My blah moment is spendig way too long on editing 5 headshoots that i missed an opportunity to shoot for reunion coffee... live and learn man. Live and learn. Thank you Sergio for this forum. Its much appreciated.
Another great one from you Sergio 👐 So many clever and relevant thoughts you share - thanks for taking the time to create these helpful videos 🤓 Best from Susanne
@@sergiopstudio Well, if you did, you might see the words "sell" and "out" in some combination here ;) In my view, i like the cobbled together approach because it fits well with your YT style. Perhaps rotate the long clamp handle (if poss) so that it points to you? Just a thought. Love the advice to be consistently routinely creative.
that super-clamp is making me nervous on that fickle plastic mic hahaaa more importantly: every shooter should have *at least one Manfrotto Magic Arm. these things are truly invaluable, and work sooo well. $100-150 sounds like a lot, but can assure you these things can really make the magic happen in variety of situ
yea but, if i don't take that extra 5min (or 5 hr!) to deal with a small detail, I know imma get a ton of texts from all my buddies minutes after I post hahahaaa. I'm editing to keep their mouths shut, not keep client happy hahahaaaaa. in all seriousness, this is good advice. wish i would have bought this sooner: it's a simple device, but I've got one of these very linear/basic desk timers. you set it down, and depending on which side you put it on, gives you 5/10/20/30/45/60 min timer. cannot underline how helpful this has been. Will have a rando task i want to firm up, give myself 10min to address and move on. there's something very tactile/responsible feeling about this little device. cant fully describe it, but doing the same thing on my phone just doesn't work the same. cant recc enough to all the solo creators, best $8 i've spent in a while.

You think I can get away with a pop filter on a lapel mic?

This is great advice I can identify with entirely - but do I really need to get a dog ? ;)
