I'm glad that sometimes some of the janky luck is left in, because it makes me feel better that some of the bizarre bounces aren't just a "me" problem. That first Miniboss and Tom's near inability to get bombs are something I run into a lot, and even knowing that any unwatchable runs just don't make it to editing (and thus there's a viewing bias - which is entirely fair!) can lead to that creeping feeling that my luck is just.. awful. Instead of the 'standard' it really is. Also praise Bouldorb! Our lorb and saviorb!
As much as I love Bouldorb, I'd love to see a flying elite or boss fight that counters its ground-only power and pierce. I know the Animated Ruins (2x2 squares boss) does that when they're rotating, but I'd be interested to see more use of the height/targeting mechanic.
Every time Tom uploads Peglin I have to reinstall it. Then rage uninstall an hour later because level 13 cruciball with spinventor is absolute hell on earth.
Yeah it's fun to see Tom just missing relics on easy shots over and over knowing that in those late spinventor cruciball levels that's basically an instant death sentence for your run.
Once I got the Cruciball 15 achievement I've always just played normal runs. There's way too much luck involved for a successful high-level cruciball run for it to be fun. One misclick, one bad shop can be the end of a run.
@@JRFreemanI love the money and shop update, but unless you're looking for a specific item for a build like the items that gives an additional discard(forgot the name), shops are not that worth it. If you view it from a point of gain, you gain nothing and only get to trade already accumulated wealth. A couple of bad question mark events on the other hand, are truly random and can mess up your run very good, especially as spinventor. I hate it so much when I get the duplicate event.

Slime boss needs a NERF. Like crucible health increases combined with his constant chip damage and the slime blocks killing any chance of hitting lots of pegs is just so unfun

Tom's… actually correct. Yup. You could farm health on it if you had cookie or max health if you had restorbs.

BOULDORB!!!!!!!
Still waiting on scientist assemball run tom, you promised!
Classic Tom run. Fumble around with unfamiliar orbs, ignore or miss potential synergies, make terrible shots, pick up Tom's son to save the day.
Don't forget every gutteral "aGHow" every time he takes damage 😂
Don't forget not bothering to ever upgrade orbs. Though at this point he's proven it's just not necessary.
@@cyte112 It does always baffle me when he ends the game with tons of money and tons of upgraded orbs

Tom consistently going exactly where he doesn’t want to during the pathing shots is the best part lmao
Anyone notice at 31:40 the bouldorb kills the flying guy even though it apparently "only hits enemies on the ground"

Once again Bouldorb saves the day, is there anything it can't do?
Hit enemies in the air

Bouldorb has ascended, always funny how a build can shift into something else real quick, thanks for the fun video Tom!

When the world needed him most... he returned! Our boy, Bouldorb!!
I like your intro music. Plus, your editing and commentary are always fun. Let's keep playing with our marble balls!
One day tom ill realise the power of a shield build with bulwark
Some big goodness happening with that bouldorb! Well played.
Bam! Bouldorb just keeps on keeping on

i was wondering why no pierce before.
It's because I was rather busy and didn't get to checking out videos until just now.

I love seeing a proud papa and his brave boy.
I once got a gold build that killed the dragon with the first ball, and the builds damage ramped up the longer fights went
The bouncy house relic makes hitting walls in navigation pretty random.
Regarding the weather vane thing, since the latest update they are no longer required to die to end an encounter.
That run had all the pegs for a possible pebbaöö run
I was not expecting the cut to Hodor
Even though I expected it, the 1:58 edit still got a laugh out of me. Even the old Tom jokes are still classics.
it would be great if bouldorb was able to hit flying enemies when upgraded cause it gets larger and heavier with each upgrade
20 seconds new record surely
You only lasted 20 seconds for Mr Tom? I gave him an hour and 16 minutes
Glad to see your boy is doing well. Morbid seems like the winners choice here

What level of cruciball are you on now? Do you play without it, i've found that level 11 is almost impossible to win reliably
