@@user-ns9ff1sz4x The claim actually isn't correct, you can see all around TH-cam you'll find them getting 7.5 Seconds Average for bone stock manual, and for automatic i just found this video and put a stop watch on it, the Video owner said it's stock and was in D and it's doing 186,000 km, does your car got a slower than this?
@@mohammedkhalid2005 I also have a golf mk3 vr6 automatic, I didn’t measure 0-100, I’m just wondering if it can accelerate faster than 7 seconds with an automatic?
@@user-ns9ff1sz4x If it's bone stock, it won't be any different than this on a flat road. Either you need to run down a really steep hill from a standstill or get some serious extra horsepower, like another 50hp, to guarantee a 7 seconds acceleration time. This is due to slow 4 speed automatic gerabox, which makes it a bit harder to maximize acceleration.
