Nice job on the turn signals! I did the same on my 60 F100. I used the bulbs and sockets from the crown Vic. I really enjoy the challenge of trying to make something work that I've already got instead of buying something new. It seems you like these challenge too.
I found the solder connectors with built in heat shrink and dont use normal butt connectors anymore. Work great and no fear of bad connections or weatherproofing
Yeah , my 48 Chevy aero only had one element in the front lights too . Going to add the same 1157 socket to it also . What where you going to use to extend the back of the housing with but didn’t have to one yours ?
Just have to weld up a small piece of tube to the back of the housing that the socket can snap into. I had a 48 aero years ago, unfortunately it was so rotted the trim was about all that was savable, very cool car. Good luck with the build 👍
Hey man , question, I bought one of those station wagon tanks . The tank did not come with a fuel pump . Where can I buy one ? There is nowhere down here in Florida that I can find one

Yep, always a fun challenge to work with what you have! I think I need to get out more.
Great video! I will definitely be using this trick on my 55’ project!!
Thanks!

Good idea!
My 56 chevy also had no wiring to the front lights. The turn signals were on the roof.
LOL guess they were easy to see

If you bought a B body wagon tank like from a 95 caprice with the LT1 you can get the sending unit on eBay and use your pump of choice
@rust_hoarder_garage all they have are ones for lock ring . The one I have has nuts to secure
