@@CapstoneTider These cars don't have the mufflers. The muffled cars have the exhaust tip moved about 4 feet rearwards, closer to the rear wheel. That was done so the muffler can fit. These cars have the short exhaust system, so these must be the unmuffled cars. RFK has a picture of a muffled car with this same paint scheme on their twitter page. The muffled cars will probably be tested on the second day of testing, but only NASCAR and the team owners would know for sure lol
The went away with the "boom tube" setup, which included both H pipe and X pipe configurations over the years, to a completely split setup, isolating each side completely. IMO, these next gen cars sound like trash.
Brad I hope you have a better season than you did because last year was rough. But this year you will make the Playoffs I believe in you Brad. I am Positive for you.
@@Odin3v Every non corporate driver mentioned shifting as one of the top reasons why short track racing suffered with the new car. It’s the truth. Long gears require momentum and momentum makes passing.

I read they were testing a slight decibel reducing muffler for usage at races like LA and Chicago.
